The Traveller:
The night has descended upon the forest, and the night life begins to arise from their daytime slumber. The trees are abuzz with the sounds of the woodlands; the creaking of trees as the cold wind bellows through the woods, a howl followed by one, two and many more wolves greeting the blissful orb in the night-sky. And then, the quiet steps of a lone wanderer, passing through the forest floor, carefully making sure he doesn’t disturb the wilderness. An intruder of sorts, but a peaceful one.

The Calling Tide
It yearns and beckons. With wet palms and whispers do the waves call, gently caressing my fingertips as I extend my arms. Soothing to the touch. What makes these waters so warm? A single thought turns into euphoria as my mind swims in the hopeful wishes to join the endless tide. How it coils around my body. There is no weight to the swirling mass that surrounds me. No hesitation.

Random Ramblings
“Hey, so you want me to buy you cigarettes?” were the first words that came out of my mouth, after I had called my brother, after he had messaged me on a December evening. I was ready for bed, turning down for the night when the Whatsapp notification pinged me into action. I’m not much of a social media user so whenever I receive a message, I get a little excited. A little energy flows and agitates my teeth, I start blinking rapidly, twist to get into a more comfortable position and turn on my phone.
