Deluded

What if my destiny is not mine to shape?

To ridicule all my actions, and forsake what is choice.

Living in a daze, so wistful are my beliefs.

And hope, so loony. A thought lacking of hope.

So simple-minded does the world all become.

And so do all consequences become deserved.

Redemption is a theory, and all actions are slighted.

All bloodshed is expected.

Warfare understood.

Lives lost. Just an ending.

But that can just be a thought. A riddle in the mind,

drifting deeply in the eternal. A notion that should be forgotten.

What keeps us moving. Like a blizzard, it will past.

If only we want it too. Realisation spreads.

And what can’t be, now shall be.

Then there’s our happy end.

And so what if we replace one thought with another?

One shutter replaced with another.

It shines brighter, illuminating our soul.

Forging a path, that we’ll gladly follow.

No matter how hollow a belief can be, it will be;

But only if we let it.

All that we want to Be; to see.

Clearly do the lines align.

Unfurl your wings and let your goal show.

Banish what keeps you chained.

Run, crawl grasp on with all your might.

Keep what keeps you going, be all that you feel is right.

And there, I hope is you living life on a high;
