My First Story
The first story I ever wrote that I didn’t write for a school project was a piece I wrote about my older brother teaching me how to write my name. I wrote this story for a contest a local publisher was running. I wrote the story to be a children’s book.

Anne of Green Gables
The book that changed my life the most was Anne of Green Gable by Lucy Maud Montgomery. This book gave me the courage to be me and helped shape me into the writer I am today. Anne, with an E, helped me understand that there was life after mortal embarrassment. This book is one I encouraged both my children to read.

Sleeping Beauties by Owen and Stephen King
I used to be a major Stephen King fan, but this book destroyed any enjoyment his work gave me. It is dull and drawn out way too long for no more of a plot than it has. Plus, the actions of the people are unbelievable. I don’t recommend this book.

Meth Zombies 2
Read Meth Zombies 1 here <<<<<<< Two weeks had passed since the beginning of the zombie outbreak, and Lisa and Mike hadn’t left their house except to forage for food. She had been babysitting her son’s children the day it started, and her son and his wife joined them shortly after. Other than them, she hadn’t seen anyone else in her family, let alone her friends, since before it all started.

Vocal Refinements
Writing on Vocal has been a fantastic experience for me. The platform is excellent for writers to gather and offer advice and encouragement. There isn’t much I would change about Vocal as it is now, but there are a few things that I would add. Items I think would make things better all around. I will discuss these shortly.

Meth Zombies. Content Warning.
Coming out of the doctor’s office into the bright light of day, Lisa was in a wonderful mood. The news from the doctor was great; her broken arm had healed nicely, her blood work had come back good, and she no longer had to take shots for blood thinner.
