My Love for you

When I look at you

It’s just as I feared

Eros didn’t use an arrow

He used a whole damn spear

*

So now I’m stuck to you.

Like a fly in a trap of glue.

Crushed by my love,

Like a beetle under a shoe.

*

Like I am dry drowning,

Your kisses leave me gasping

The feel of your sweet touch

leaves me grasping

*

I am lost in your eyes.

Your beautiful eyes of green.

Just the thought of living without you

Feels so obscene

*

The day the Eros shot me.

He gave me such joy

Being with you is so enchanting

There is nothing more that I enjoy
