Robbing the Underworld
One, two… Two men so similar in appearance, yet so different in every other way. One wasted away like one who died young, a life stolen by alcohol and apathy. The other, a shining example of morality. How I wished to change places with him, to rob him of the life I wanted! In an ironic twist, I got my wish.

Walls of Death and Time: part 3
Read Part 1 HERE Read Part 2 HERE If someone had told me an hour ago that I’d be going back in time to 1921 tonight, I would’ve laughed in their face! If someone had told me I’d be doing it to save a ghost, I would’ve called them crazy because this is crazy. Ghosts, time travel, murder mystery… It sounds like some insane conspiracy theory, the kind I never would’ve believed two days ago. I never would’ve questioned the historical narrative before I met Edward Mallory - well, if you can call talking to a ghost through walls meeting someone. Yet here I am so convinced of his innocence that I put myself on the line to prove it.

A Story in Song
Life is unpredictable sometimes. It can be messy. It can be chaotic, and it doesn’t always fit into a neat little box. Like life itself, my taste in music is all over the map. Everything from tc theme songs to alternative rock, pop to Broadway will make an appearance on this list.

I Am Not Your Leverage!
Dear politicians, I don’t expect you to care about me. You have demonstrated time and time again your refusal to listen to each other. If you can’t be bothered to listen to your fellow politicians, why would you listen to someone like me, someone who lacks your money, education, and influence? No, I'm not naïve enough to think my thoughts will change anything or even matter to you, but I’m going to voice them anyway because I have little to lose.

A Far Better Thing...
The term comfort character is defined by Urban Dictionary as “a character, which can be from a TV show, game, book, etc, [who] makes you feel safe and happy when upset, sad, down, etc.” Having grown up isolated and ostracized by my community, I learned from an early age to find the companionship I lacked in works of fiction. I’ve had a number of comfort characters in my life, but the one that stands out is Sydney Carton from A Tale of Two Cities. That character kept coming back into my life at times when I needed comfort most, and that started at a young age.
