Killing Eve, Villanelle, Observations on The End
Prologue: The Villanelle Books vs The Killing Eve TV Series I have just finished watching the final series of “Killing Eve” based on the “Villanelle” books by Luke Jennings. I have not read the books so I cannot compare the TV series with what happens in the book.

The Huntress (of Skipton Castle Woods)
This is a poem for The Huntress of Skipton Castle Woods, which I wrote about in the story below which contains links to Anna Cross (Anna and The Willow) and shows how it was constructed. She is an amazing creation by Anna and I visit every time I come to Settle and then take the train to Skipton.

Vocal Engagement Without Reads
Engagement On Facebook And Twitter With Vocal Stories This has come about because I have had at least one story that has had loads of engagement, meaning that people must have read it, it has been hearted ten times but in two weeks has racked up only four reads. On Twitter, it has been loved a retweeted six times, so it’s not like it has sunk like a stone. The subject was an album review which I thought worthy of a Vocal Top Story (but I think that of everything that I write) so it’s not anything controversial or that.

A Comic Playlist
This is the result of a prompt from my friend Bill O'Neil when I said I couldn't write anything related to comedy. I can’t actually write comedy and find reading some comic books difficult sometimes. Spike Milligan's “Puckoon” and Harvard Lampoon’s “Bored of the Rings” are books that burn out way too soon. Having said that I always find the writing of Douglas Adams very entertaining so I can take some comedic writing.

Just Another Scam
James Veitch Shows How It's Done How To Approach Being Scammed The other day I got hit by a new scam, well I didn’t get scammed because I cottoned on to what was happening. I go with the James Veitch and Joe Lycett philosophy that if you know what you are doing with these things. String the scammer along for as long as is practical for you because that way you are protecting people who may actually be vulnerable to these sorts of scams.

This Is Not Writer's Block
Entrance to My State of Mind At The Moment I am finding it very difficult to write at the moment, but the fact that my fingers are touching the keyboard to actually put together this piece means that I can still write and get something out there. I really want to write some fiction (I am not very good at that) and poetry (over two hundred poems that people like shows that I am probably able to write something that people enjoy.).

Issues With Vocal That May Never Be Resolved
Prologue To Problems With Vocal This is not hitting out at Vocal, and often there are other companies who will not acknowledge issues. Also because of the number of stories I have now published I hit problems that most people will never actually encounter, but they are still issues. I am hoping that Vocal look at this post and say “Hmmm that is a problem, we really need to do something about it” but here is the first hurdle to anything happening.
