What Should I Write?
Introduction I havenβt written anything about writing and creation recently, and I have been told that I am lazy and my writing is rubbish and I post too much so nobody reads my posts. These have all been put forward as constructive criticism that I should take notice of.

Nine Artists I Discovered From Twitter, Facebook, Bandcamp And Other Unexpected Sources
Introduction. These are some amazing artists that I have discovered through social media and as support to other artists. They are all amazing musicians and some I have written about before, often on my blogs.

A Playlist Of Places. Top Story - September 2022.
Introduction I was wondering if I could create a playlist of songs I love about places, because I love the place or have a great friend who lives there or it is just a beautiful song that makes me want to go there. We all love something that gives us a feeling of warmth, comfort and longing.

A Deck Of Cards
There were twenty two houses in her road and her house was number one. She lived alone, kept herself to herself, but helped others when she had the time and inclination. She had never been inclined to share her life with another, she loved to have quiet and be able to decide what she would do.

Comfortable Sofa Fever
This is my fourth new entry into the Vocal "Get Comfortable" Challenge I thought taking the form of an epic poem and adapting that would be a fun take on the Challenge and after my "Another Raven" which you can read at the end of this. I was confident choosing Samuel Coleridge's "Rime of The Ancient Mariner" as "Rime of The Things That Comfort Us" until I realised it is in seven parts and close to 630 lines of four line stanzas so maybe four thousand words and I don't think this that would go down well although I have maybe six weeks to stitch together, but The John Masefield poem "Sea Fever" is the model for this slice of comfortable poetry.

Are Our Stories Still Being Moderated By Vocal?
Introduction The reason I am writing this is that I believe that the Vocal Moderation Team have been let go, and then our stories are suddenly being published almost immediately after their submission. I am unaware of any official change in method or policy from Vocal and they have never acknowledged any question I have put to them in my fourteen months of Vocal but I am just one of seven million on the platform, although they recognise me as a Top Creator in Beat for some reason.

You Are Inspiration
I was speaking with a great friend and she was surprised when I said that just chatting with her gave me inspiration to create stories. I told her that we all inspire each other when we communicate and she did say that my poetry inspired her. She may reveal herself or she may wish to remain in the shadows but you may guess who she is. She is excited that I am going to write a poem for her and it will be a villanelle.

The Kelpies and The Falkirk Wheel
The Kelpies The Kelpies A few years ago I was driving up the M9 towards Dollar in Scotland, it was dark and raining and suddenly I nearly crashed the car when I saw two huge hundred-foot-high horses' heads to my left-hand side. I had to pull over. I am not sure if I tried to take a photograph but I was dumbfounded.
