Comfortable Sofa Fever
Based on the form of John Masefield's "Sea Fever"

This is my fourth new entry into the Vocal "Get Comfortable" Challenge
I thought taking the form of an epic poem and adapting that would be a fun take on the Challenge and after my "Another Raven" which you can read at the end of this. I was confident choosing Samuel Coleridge's "Rime of The Ancient Mariner" as "Rime of The Things That Comfort Us" until I realised it is in seven parts and close to 630 lines of four line stanzas so maybe four thousand words and I don't think this that would go down well although I have maybe six weeks to stitch together, but The John Masefield poem "Sea Fever" is the model for this slice of comfortable poetry.
I hope you enjoy this
