When You Don't Have A Hat
This is for Gina's VSS Microfiction Challenge that you can read here When You Don't Have A Hat An invitation to a party is not something that I am happy to receive. I don't like people, they are just too peoply, but this was something that might benefit me if I were to attend.

Stairs
Yesterday, upon the stair, I met a man who wasn't there! He wasn't there again today, Oh how I wish he'd go away! The evening did not end well. We didn't fight but I was not sure when we would see each other again. These things do happen. It was late and I had to be going otherwise I would miss my last bus and I needed to be up early tomorrow for work.

Death Disguised
The Problem People get older. That's a fact. In the past people wanted to be able to do something, be a spaceman, be a doctor, be a builder, they wanted the ability to do something useful. They wanted to be able to make society better in whatever way they could and, ideally get some reward for it. They also wanted to progress in whatever sphere they had chosen to practice and learn their skills.

Brief Intro This is sort of influenced by the videos and songs above. Tesco invading Denmark is satire but is becoming closer to reality. Let's face it many politicians are owned by corporations and "brands".

The Thin Ones
It is dark and raining. The wind blows a rogue hanging wire against the metal lamp post making it sing like a muffled bell. I was out late, I don't know why, but I always find that sound so eerie, like something bad is going to happen.

The Business Model. Content Warning.
Introduction I was listening to "Masters Of War" by Bob Dylan and it just made me think of the state our world is in at the moment. This story is anything but hopeful and is not the sort of thing that I enjoy writing. It observes how evil so often triumphs because people allow it to exist in the name of fairness or due to complete apathy.

The Perfect Circle
The Path To The Perfect Circle He was being chased. He wasn't sure if he was awake or if this was a dream, but when you are being chased the only thing on your mind is escape. He was running through the woods but came up to a vertical cliff face, but then saw a narrow crack and ran into it, hoping there was a way out at the other end.
