The Practice of Nursing Research and Munro's Statistical Methods for Healthcare Research
The next two textbooks that I have read and reviewed were 'The Practice of Nursing Research Appraisal, Synthesis and Generation of Evidence' and 'Munro's Statistical Methods for Healthcare Research'. The Munro textbook is one that teaches about all the math that one may need to do research in this area. The other textbook is one where authors show their experiences in writing and doing research.

Managerial Epidemiology and Evidence-based Practice in Nursing and Healthcare (A Guide for Best Practice)
'Managerial Epidemiology' Concepts and Cases in the Second edition written by Steven T. Fleming is a hardback textbook that could be used alongside with 'Introduction to Epidemiology' or as a standalone textbook for a separate course. Steven T. Fleming wrote this textbook to illustrate the business and economic side to the subject of epidemiology. Steven T. Fleming is a very knowledgeable author in this field for throughout the text he is offering his insight with other writers and contributors.

Pediatric Clinical Skills and Introduction to Epidemiology
As a Licensed Practical Nurse and educator I have just read a textbook entitled 'Pediatric Clinical Skills' Second edition that was written by Richard B. Goldbloom back in 1997. This textbook is actually a textbook for students studying to be registered nurses in some capacity or as a nurse practitioner. It is also a book that covers the various kinds of assessments that cover the whole body and all the systems from head to toe from the respiratory procedures to cardio to reproductive and hormones to the muscles and bones and even the skin.

Are You a Counselor?
In reading a counseling skills textbook that I am currently reviewing, which is entitled 'Counseling Skills' by Traci Postings I came across many activities that to me would make good articles. In the first chapter there is an activity to see if you could be a counselor, and these are my responses to these questions. When I was a LPN and working with the geriatric patients and leading or assisting in activity groups this was when I wanted to learn how to be a counselor or at least use the modalities that counselors used for various therapies like art, music, play, etc.
