The Netflix Movie You've Been Missing
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, Netflix, it's a sea full of your average storytelling but every once and awhile it is home to greatness. I found myself searching through the streaming platform tonight only to discover one of those great hidden gems. Comically enough the film The Platform may just be one of this platform's best that it has to offer. This article will not contain any spoilers for the movie as I think everyone should enjoy it and explore it for yourselves. And yes, it's in Spanish, but you can manage to read subtitles every now and then.

Ranking My 'Animal Crossing' Villagers
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, Animal Crossing, how it really has been a lighthouse beam of happiness during these chaotic times. This game has been providing me with memories ever since the original DS version. All the nights I stayed up with Brewster just to see K.K. for a good two minutes are well remembered and cherished. But now we have been blessed with the newest title which has brought all the amazing villagers we have ever known back to us and vamped everything up. The only problem: getting the villagers you want. I know that there are surely characters I am still looking out for *cough* Lily *cough*. But for now I am stuck with 10 villagers; some of whom I love and others I wish to forget. The ones at the bottom of this list know who they are as they have been getting ignored and hit with nets for the past week. You came here for a list though, and now that list shall begin! From worst to best here is my list of Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers.

Albert Camus' 'The Plague' Versus COVID-19
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, what an absolutely mad time we live in. As the Corona Virus brings more and more victims into its clutches we have seen normal life crumble around us. Many students, including myself, are no longer allowed to go to school and are instead opting to do classes online. Stores are closing early and some have had to take breaks simply to have enough time to restock shelves. But it's at a time like this that I'm reminded of my favorite novel.

Why Podrick Payne Is The Best Game of Thrones Character
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, Game of Thrones, it's the show that so many of us know and love. Let's be honest though, everyone has the same basic favorite characters. Don't get me wrong I love Tyrion, Danny, and Jon as much as anyone. However, it feels so boring to have them as my standout character. How Far Funkos Have Come
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, Funko Pops, how far they have come throughout the years and what a glorious journey it has been. I have been in love with Funko Pops ever since I first laid eyes on them. At this point I can't even remember the first time I saw one or which character it was, but my collection of almost 40 can tell you how big of a fan I am in place of that knowledge. While I have this many Funkos it does sadden me to say that I only have a select few that are made from the older style. Oh, do you not know how to determine whether one is new or old based on first glance? Well here my friend, let me explain.

Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, Twitter, how the mighty have fallen. Nowadays there are so many ways for people to voice their oh-so-strong opinions to the world. Do all of them need to be heard? Absolutely not, but there will always be a platform for someone to spout hate. Sadly, it seems as though Twitter has become the ultimate haven for this type of activity to run wild. Simply look at the trending page and you are sure to see a hashtag ending with "isoverparty." It's blatantly obvious to see the toxicity this app has amassed over the years, and it's sad to see how many people continue to take this abuse.

Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, television, it sure knows how to pull at our heartstrings doesn't it? As the years have gone by my love for television has dwindled, but my days of obsession have yet to leave my thoughts. Just in case you forgot about all the painful experiences you've had when watching your favorite TV shows, here is a reminder! I will share five of the saddest episodes of television with you all today, and let's be real they are all because of the death of a beloved character. Yes, I know they are just television shows full of fictional characters, but you cried when Bambi's mom died too you monster! The auburn curls of Anne Ridley bounced up and down like rabbits as she frolicked around the Southaven County Fair in her home state of Mississippi. This wasn’t just any old county fair, this year would be the very best one ever. Working 364 days on her best apple pie recipe, she had finally perfected her craft and was ready to snag that shiny blue ribbon which would show everyone she was #1.
