The Thing About Vocal
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, Vocal, what a platform! I've had no bad experience on Vocal thus far and have found the platform to be an awesome gateway to bigger and brighter things. Snowflake. Top Story - November 2021.
I walk alone, the way I've grown accustomed to walking these past few years. The snow falls gently around me and some plant themselves in my hair. I remember the look on his face when the snow would fill my hair. He would smile that smile that got me every time, and laugh as he shook off each individual snowflake. He always did love the winter, but I believe it was simply due to the snow. The snow gave him an excuse to warm me up and get close to me. An excuse to caress my face and cup it in his hands.

I Hate Vampires
Let me start off by expressing my hatred towards vampires: I hate them. They have become one of the most overused monsters in today's culture, and don't ask me how that happened because I have absolutely no clue. Also, they went from Nosferatu ugly to Edward Cullen handsome and sexualized to hell. Since when was murder and blood-sucking attractive? A vampire can bite someone's neck and it's considered hot but any normal person does it and it's called murder with a possible life sentence to follow. Now that you understand my stance with vampires, let me tell you how much it sucks that I've become one.

A Happy Story
A happy story. How the fuck am I gonna write one of those? I'm a senior in high school, am currently on my period, hate my mother, and take pills for my severe anxiety. Oh, and I'm also Asian which invites the resident bullies to stretch their eyes out as far as they can whenever they see me. Can't forget to mention the part about how they sprinkle in, "ching chong" too for the icing on top. What do I have to be happy about with a life like this?

To be quite honest any of the characters I currently have could be my main, that's how unique and awesome each of them and their builds are. For those of you who may not know this massively popular gacha game that has captured the hearts of millions, let me sum it up for you. It is a super creative, super time consuming, super addictive money trap. Currently, it sits as one of the most popular open-world RPG's. You can collect different unique characters and weapons to help your fight in several different nations with their own lore and culture. The Perks of Working With Kids
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, kiddos, what a joy they are to work with. And I know some of you may be rolling your eyes or laughing when you read that statement but I really mean it! Of course there are parts of the job that aren't the greatest but when weighed against the cons of most other jobs I would take working with kids in a heartbeat. I currently work as a 1:1 aide at a preschool for general education and special needs kiddos and here are a few things I look forward to and appreciate every day.

Ranking the Songs of AJR's 'OK Orchestra'
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, AJR, how quickly they became my all time favorite band. Maybe we can say it's because of all the lyrics about anxiety that resonate with me, or maybe it's just those funky beats behind all their songs. This band already had some critical acclaim before, but this album has surely made their rise to the top propel forward. Who knows what weird noises and voices they will add to their next songs coming up, but we all know that nothing is going to top "metronome." Alright, let's hop into it folks!

B.J. Novak Exposes a Massive Problem With Celebrities
Dear Vocal Readers, Oh, B.J. Novak, have I got a bone to pick with you? That answer quite obviously is yes (something you could probably infer simply off the title of this article). He is just one of the many celebrities who are guilty of stealing from the rest of us 99%, but he is the best example I have of it. For those of you who don't know him, he is best known for his role in the television series "The Office" and he has also done directing and writing. Now this man published a children's book titled The Book With No Pictures and it was a hit. People go to the store shopping for children's novels and they see his name sticking out in blue font on that cover, and if they know him it's that instant thought of "Hey I know that guy! I should get this because he wrote it and I liked him in 'The Office'!" This is where it all goes wrong. It is human nature to see a familiar name and even a celebrity's name and be drawn to whatever it's on. But I believe Novak knew that all too well and leaned on this fact. He made the title all in black, and put his name in blue to draw the eyes to the author's name. Smart man indeed, but seriously messed up for taking advantage of consumers.
