CH 13~ The Emerald Idyll
Frannie sat, halfheartedly working on a form letter to be copied and sent out to all of the young men she had frankly never heard of and had no interest in making the acquaintance of. When Azure heard letters coming in from the likes of Frankel Megantani, she insisted that they all be answered in some manner or another, and she sent her back to work on it while she finished up some business with Cinnamon in her office.

Name: Arc Physical Characteristics: electrically charged grain. Kernels with thick woody hulls growing on a cob enclosed in a layered husk. While still inside the hull, the kernels don’t discharge. If any break while still on the cob, the tassel will spark as a warning.

CH 12~ Dear Frannie
The day Azure and her team left, all contact with Old Sanctville, physical or magical, was cut off; it had been two weeks since then. This was the most visible sign since “The Unpleasantness” started nearly a year prior that something very unpleasant was indeed unfolding in the Eidru homeland. That, and the level of security measures enacted across the empire, had not been seen since the Ambersmire Confederation succeeded.
