I was reborn in your light that day

I picked up my pen

Regenerating slowly

Finally able to overcome

The fear of my pain

β€§β‚ŠΛš πŸŒˆβ‹…β™‘β‹†

I heard your voice

From the other side

Opened my eyes

As if for the first time

β€§β‚ŠΛš πŸŒˆβ‹…β™‘β‹†

Every stroke of my pen

Every click of the key

Is a bit of growth

Toward the person

I know I was born to be

β€§β‚ŠΛš πŸŒˆβ‹…β™‘β‹†

Shedding away

The scarred scales

Of my past

To release me from

The poison

That clouded

My dreams

Suppressing the

Lies and immobility to

All-consuming black

β€§β‚ŠΛš πŸŒˆβ‹…β™‘β‹†

I'm a dreamer of

Shimmering sights

Behind teary eyes and the

Most ghastly of trials

I ride echoes of color and light

Ride them, flying far

Past the stars, to the galaxy

Of creation

I've been drawn to

All my life
