Lake of Souls Chapter 7
Previous Chapter As I was pulled under the water I was able to see what had grabbed me. A blue scaled creature that looked like a massively enlarged frog. Before I could even attempt to muster a defense it let go of my leg to shove a glowing sac in my mouth and then cover my mouth and nose. I swallowed the sac out of some reflex. As soon as I did the creature removed its hands, "Now breathe as I do." I took a deep breath, finding that I could now breath under water and move easier.

Lake of Souls Chapter 6
Previous Chapter I stared into the lake wondering how I was going to fight a guy I couldn't touch. As I looked at myself I started noticing all of the scars on my body. I never fully healed after each death, I just came back with fresh scarring. My body was an utter mess at this point but it was still functioning and strong so I guess I had nothing to complain about. I reached towards the souls swimming in the lake when my hand was stopped by an invisible force, "No no. Soul touching is for people who don't die. You have to go back and figure this out. This is only the third King. You still have two more to go after this one and I've heard the Water King is a real nightmare. So get back in the fight Xea. Go, win, and move forward to collect your soul." With that my vision went dark again and then I was waking up looking at the floor.

Lake of Souls Chapter 5
Previous Chapter I stared up at the air temple taking in all the subtle whites, grays, and golds that seemed to shimmer with the winds. The temple itself seemed to be almost ethereal in its form as if at any moment it may blow away. I started walking forward towards a grand set of stairs that led to a singular door at the top. While the temple was grandiose the door itself was a simple thing. I had to actually duck down to enter the temple. Upon entering I was now standing in a grandiose foyer. There were easily a dozen doors that I could see as well as a set of stairs leading up to another set of doors. The room is just the same as outside. Everything was shimmering and almost moving around. The colorations were also the same though now more of the white of clouds than anything else.
