Lake of Souls Chapter 14
Previous Chapter I woke up to the sun hitting my eyes. I squinted slightly and looked over to see Filon still curled against me. I reached my hand over and brushed his hair back, "Filon it's time to get up. The sun is out and we still have much to do."

Lake of Souls Chapter 13
Previous Chapter Filon and I said farewell to the villagers and then left to find the next village. As we headed out Filon reached into a sack he was carrying and handed me a small chunk of dried meat, "You haven't eaten much in the time you've been with us. You should eat before you become weak from hunger."

Lake of Souls Chapter 12
Previous Chapter I watched the god walk back into the dome and smiled to myself. I couldn't really say I had won that confrontation but I hadn't really lost either. The god and I were at a standstill but for now I had to put those thoughts away. Now was the time to start fixing the world I had left in shambles in my wake. Though how I was going to do that I wasn't exactly sure of. I was only one person and my connection to the land has disappeared when I gave up the King's souls. As I was scanning the land thinking I saw the little snake from before peeking out from an outcropping, "Is that malevolent creature gone? He gives me the creeps. Something about him is off like he doesn't belong here."

The Me I hadn't Seen. Top Story - December 2021.
My given name is Joshua. Now my name is Josephine or Josie for short. I could write about a lot of different moments in my life. When I was offered to go to Broadway by a director but I turned it down to stay in school. When I went into the healthcare profession as a personal caretaker where I discovered a love for helping others. What I want to write about though is my realization of being Josie.
