Come one come all
To a carnival of fun
Where the sun never shines
Only the moon hangs in the sky
~
A place where man and beast live in harmony
Just as in nature long ago
Come see the primeval man
Living as long ago
~
But notice he does not fear
He walks hand in hand with the land
Though surrounded by beasts
There's no fear in this man
~
Now come with me
I'll show you the one thing he fears
Oh what's this? A mirror
It seems to be that all he fears is modern man
~
But why would he fear that which he becomes?
Does he fear what must be done
To progress so far that he stands at the top
I've often wondered if our ancestors could look on us, what would they think? Would they be proud of us having moved forward so far that we now have our own individual dwellings and food? Or would they be sad at how much we've lost to gain our freedom from the natural world? I'm not really sure myself. If you enjoyed this then please heart, subscribe, and feel free to leave a tip.
