Such an easy thing to forget sometimes

Life happens and you move forward

Suddenly another year gone

Cake, favorite meals, presents oh my

The one day where anything you say goes

A prize for being birthed

Can be a sad affair too

If no one but you remembers the day

At those times it feels like a curse to have been birthed

Birthdays

Where you go out or you do your best to stay in

Maybe lots of friends or maybe none

It's your day so in theory it can be whatever you want

Another day, another year

Moving forward step by step

Hopefully it's worth celebrating

So Happy Birthday to you!

Sadly this won't have come out on my birthday but shortly after. But with it being my birthday of course my mind started rambling on the thoughts of it. Thankfully I won't be alone but I will be doing my best to stay in. No loud and obnoxious people for my birthday thank you. I hope you enjoyed this rambling. I know it got a little dark at one point but unfortunately that is the reality for some people. If you know that it's someone's birthday, at least say something. Could make their day.
