House of cards
Karl's criminal empire came crashing down like a house of cards! First ended his drug smuggling ring, as undercover police seized all dens across the city of Chicago. Fortunately (for him) Karl had other illegal businesses that kept him afloat, such as people and sex trafficking, oh no, that was stopped too. This time by the vigilante gang known as Saints, who wore purple and were hippies, "fighting for freedom!" They always claimed. Of course it was those do-gooders who put an end to his most evil crime business. That made Karl panic a little, but he still had his protection racket, but not even that was meant to last. As rival gangs targeted his businesses and beat up his own mafia. Things were looking bad, very bad, you may think this is more of a crime story than horror, but once you discover how Karl Tino died, only then will you understand why I have featured this gruesome tale here.

Big Bad Wolf
It was fierce, epic in proportion and ultimately terrifying to behold. The big bad wolf was grey, full of muscle and had an unquenchable hunger that could never be satisfied. Her eyes were a bright yellow in that darkness, shining like blinding beacons in the moonlight. You saw this wolf on a holiday in Canada, exploring the snowy mountains with your mother and father. You were an only child and didn't have many friends to play with, so you explored the countryside and forests a lot on your own. That's when you soon found yourself alone, facing this threatening creature. It was beautiful yet horrific. With majestic fur and handsome features. However, its teeth were as sharp as razor blades, with drool dripping down its frightening fangs. The monster was real, somehow far more horrifying than any horror movie beast because the wolf was a real animal, in the real world. Now here it was, staring at you, your parents almost five miles away, you shouldn't have ventured off too far from the cabin too late at night. It was only natural for a kid your age to want to explore, but now all you wanted to do was get the plane back home to jolly old England. Yet, you couldn't move a muscle as the wolf stared you down. It was a game of chess, where the reward was life and the failure was death. You couldn't lose, so you kept calm and stared back. This lasted what felt like hours, you blinked rarely, so did the wolf. If you ran, you were sure it would chase, if you yelled, you were sure it would strike and if you cried, you were sure it would see easy prey and try to eat you. It was hard holding in your bladder, you may not have even needed to go, it was likely your body telling you to run to a private bathroom to escape this intense situation, but you knew deep down that wasn't an option. Eventually the wolf neared forwards, you remained stood, paralysed with fear. Then as it began to growl, sneer and snap its teeth, you knew the big bad wolf wanted to eat. So you spun and ran from her, almost automatically, you couldn't think straight, you just ran and ran, running out of breath, vision going blurry, heart beating madly in your chest, as the wolf roared and chased behind you. Somehow you still kept running, faster than you ever thought you could, like the wind. You had gone into flight not fight, your brain that made the right decision, fighting that monster would have been suicide! Every second felt like a minute and every minute felt like an hour, except time also seemed to be going faster than ever. You were experiencing pure, relentless frantic terror! Even though your body begged desperately for rest, you simply kept running, faster and faster, beyond what you thought was ever conceivable. In that frightened state you could have easily outrun the world's greatest Olympic runner. You may have even raced alongside a bicycle and still won. The wolf was still gaining on you however, it eventually struck the back of your calves, knocking you forwards and then over onto your front. You cried in terror, as the wolf circled you, getting ready to eat. Then there was a loud bang, followed by a blinding torch light. The wolf yelped, whimpered and bled, a bullet had shot its leg and was wounded. It fled into the darkness. Somebody had saved you, it was your father. "Emma honey, I'm so glad you're all right!" He exclaimed, climbing down the slope with his hunting rifle in hand. "I'm so sorry, daddy!" You cried, holding onto him for dear life, "I'll never run off like that again, I swear to you I won't." And you never did.

From Space
It came from space. An egg, or so it looked like one. The thing was oval shaped, green and bumpy with scratches all over it. There was a burning comet, set on fire, crashing through buildings and forests. It destroyed everything in its path. The news went international, everyone on earth heard about the comet and the fear it brought was far beyond overwhelming. What was this thing? It looked like an egg, but no egg on earth could possibly survive such a crash without shattering. The USA Government found and extracted the thing from space, hiding it from the public, nobody but them knew it was something alien. The egg was taken into area 51 and secured, locked away and studied extensively. There it remained for several years, unmoving, untouched, contained behind glass. A Scientist kept notes on any changes to the egg, for the longest time she convinced herself the thing was not an egg, but a strange rock from out of space. Then when she was almost 39, small cracks on the top exterior began to form. Something from within was growing like a baby chicken. What should have taken days, took a whole year as the egg cracked more and more until it finally hatched 2 months after the scientist's 40th birthday. Finally, after almost two years of waiting, alien life on earth was finally among us. The staff at area 51 were at first excited, expecting to see a little green, cute humanoid with big black eyes and a huge round head. Like the stereotypical design of an alien you'd see in all those old comic books and early science fiction movies. However, what lay inside that egg looked unlike anything anyone had ever seen. It was not cute, but monstrous, with features so strange, they are hard to describe, but I'll try anyway: It was more insect than humanoid, with almost a hundred limbs that weren't quite hands or legs, but perhaps pincers or claws. It was an ugly, dark brown colour with grotesque spots of yellow that looked like pimples. The alien appeared to have no eyes, yet it was somehow still aware of its environment. It moved like a crab or spider, but not quite one or the other, it seemed to defy time and space, moving in slow motion then suddenly at super speed, like somebody had been messing around with the fast forward buttons on the TV remote. It did not obey the rules of gravity either, instead floating mid air and swimming around the glass box it found itself in. The scientist who had been studying the egg for so long was sickened by the sight of this thing, its bug-like appearance and horrid colour was simply appalling to witness. It embodied disgust, especially when its pimples began spitting yellow acidic puss all over the place. The puss stunk like the worst sewer on earth, it made skunk's smell like perfume in comparison, it was simply vomit inducting to sniff and eye bleeding to look at. The scientist couldn't believe after all this time, the alien inside was the definition of gross. Then the yellow acid began to melt through the glass. "Oh shit!" The scientist gasped, quickly standing to her feet. The alien was escaping and the combination of its horrid stench and ugliness was honestly frightening. The fact it floated in the air and moved out of sync with time and space, that only made it seem all the more weird and revolting. Eventually it broke through containment altogether, reaching out to her at speeds impossible to comprehend. It burst that yellow putrid acid all over her, she screamed and melted into a hideous puddle of red blood and gore. It escaped into the compound of area 51, melting many of the scientists and soldiers that tried to stop it. The flying alien was unstoppable until somebody began throwing grenades into its general direction. Not even this thing could avoid all those explosions, it fortunately splattered in the bombing, leaving more of the disgusting yellow gore all over the place. It's safe to say the staff at area 51 were disappointed with the alien life they found, it seemed to be a mindless animal. More accurately, a giant sized parasite that only lived to eat and likely reproduce. All those years of speculation and excitement; only to discover the alien life form was merely an oversized bug. One that killed almost 50 members of staff in its wake. The scariest thing of all, is that if that was only one of those hideous things, how much damage could a whole population of them do?

Old Castle Blue
It stood a thousand feet tall, towering over the village, so high up into the sky clouds often obscured it. They called it "old castle blue" because of its particularly light shade of grey bricks used to build it, it often looked blue under the fog of the atmosphere in the distance especially on beautiful, sunny days in Spring or Summer. It was an ancient relic, one that may have looked pretty, or added to the picturesque landscape, but deep inside held many dark secrets. The castle looked like something straight out of a Ricky Mouse movie, what with its decorative roof, stylish architecture and many different carvings. However, just like in the cathedral of notre dame, this place also had its secret little monster and it was no misunderstood hunchback like in all those kids films. What lay beneath the grounds of old castle blue was something far darker and dangerous. Not just in the dungeon, but also in the old rooms that nobody should dare enter. Before I go into all the different creepy crawlies that secretly dwell in the darkness of this castle, I must first tell you the story of three daring trespassers who attempted to witness these horrors for themselves.

Caged
She didn't know why. Only that those angry humans had captured her, for reasons she could not possibly comprehend. Other tigers in the jungle had told her about the "hunters", the pale, furless creatures that wore other animal skins upon their bodies. The tiger did not know why, but the idea frightened her a great deal. She wondered if that's what they had planned for her, to skin her and wear her fur. The idea made the poor tiger sick, literally. She puked all over the floor inside her cage. "Bad girl!" One of them roared, she could not possibly understand what he was trying to communicate, only that it was human noises, ones impossible for her to truly decipher. They prodded her with an electric pole, it stung like agony. "You better behave yourself!" They made that strange, creepy noise again. The tiger wept, before falling asleep, dreaming of a better life, hoping her capture was nothing but a terrifying nightmare.

Broken car
The following is A very, very tragic story about a scary, creepy murder mystery. One that involves a car collector named Tom Casey. He was a nice, old gentleman, who met a truly tragic death. One that he certainly did not deserve. One nobody deserved. Beware dear reader, for this story is incredibly sad. You might even cry.

Beware Of Assassins
Some people are willing to do anything for money. From prostitution to drug smuggling, there is no bounds to which some will go to. I personally despise con-artists, like how AI generated bullshit has flooded the internet (something I refuse to use by the way) with fake art, books and even music. Some even have the audacity to charge others for this soulless nonsense, it is despicable. Yet there are those who are far more degenerate than that, there are some whose will to make money, means to kill! That's right, out of all the crimes in the world like theft, arson and kidnapping, committing murder is by far the worst, even more despicable than torture. To take anyone else's's life for any price (not matter how high that number may be) is the vile and disgusting thing any human can do. If you're not a complete psychopath, killing someone will haunt your guilty conscience for the rest of your pathetic life. It wouldn't matter if you were an overnight millionaire, seeing the lights die out in your target's eyes would be the most traumatising sight ever. That's why some assassin's prefer to kill their targets from a great distance, using a sniper rifle from a high vantage point, typically a tall building. It's less personal that way, like completing an objective in a video game. It's still sick. Something nobody should ever do, only in extreme emergency situations like presenting a mass shooting or gang war between two armed rivals. Yet despite all this, some still kill solely for money and that alone is why humanity itself is truly doomed.

Real horror films
The following is a fictional story about dark horror films, ones that may use real gore and murders shown in the footage to scare audiences. Whether films like this actually exist in the real world remains to be seen. Only that an obscure independent horror film may or may not contain real terror! So if watch something that seems to real, perhaps it really is!

Spoilt Girl
Cindy Elise always got what she wanted. Ever since she was a little girl, her parents were both easily manipulated people who let everyone (including their own daughter) walk all over them. Both parents got picked on in school, college and university by all the students, teachers and tutors. They were shy pushovers through and through, but somehow always managed to get by in life, by some bizarre miracle of good luck or chance. Perhaps just doing exactly what others demanded was a ticket for success, especially in the workplace. They made it rich and both had good jobs, meaning they could both afford Cindy all the toys, games, books, accessories, clothes and trips to the cinemas, theme parks, zoos or water parks she could ever dream of. They went to Paris Ricky Mouse Land and Florida Ricky Mouse World too. All three of them had holidays in Madrid, Miami, the Carribbean, Italy, China and Australia to visit Sidney, America to visit New York, England to visit London and Japan to visit Tokyo. They went all over the globe, saw and did everything there was to see and do, gifting their daughter all the flowers in the world. Cindy would often buy half the merchandise within the gift shop, at every attraction they visited. Her parents spending thousands of dollars on days out, that should have only cost a mere hundred. Cindy was living the dream life, where she always got whatever she desired, no matter how expensive or difficult, without question or resistance. As she got older her demands only grew more and more impossible to fulfil. Despite the fact her parents both worked full time with maximum wage jobs, Cindy's ever growing list of wants and needs only got more and more insane and unrealistic. Eventually her pushover parents summoned the courage to finally say; "no". It took them 18 years to finally say it, Cindy was a young woman now, but she still wore bright pink dresses and had her blonde hair done up into pigtails. Looking like some oversized toddler.

Travel Anxiety
Sarah Connolly never used to have travel anxiety, in fact she was the polar opposite. The young woman was a world traveller, one that travelled often by land, sea and air. Of course there were a few bumps in the road. One time her train to Bangladesh got delayed for four hours and she was stranded with nothing to eat. Another time, Sarah thought she was being stalked by a creepy man in Australia, who she thought was some kind of serial killer, only for it turn to out he was a farmer that lived nearby the guest house she was staying at. A single lonely guy on a cruise liner named Jack, kept trying to impress and seduce her, she was alarmed by his forwardness and alerted the security guards of his behaviour, who then promptly booted him off the ship at the next port. Getting a taxi in many of the countries she visited often resulted in unwanted flirting from the drivers, as she was a very attractive young lady, who often got the attention of creeps. She even got lost in the middle of New York city one time, but she was actually glad to be climbing inside a yellow taxi cab straight to the airport that night. All and all, most of her experiences weren't too scary or dangerous, she just had the occasional bump in the road. However her confidence wasn't meant to last, for you see she came back home to England from Spain by plane one Winter's afternoon. It rained hard on the way back, heavy with thunder, skies black and grey. Worse than that, there was lightning too and Sarah was inside the passenger plane while all that was happening. The oxygen masks even fell from the plane's ceiling, she felt especially frightened when the typically calm and confident air stewards looked spooked too. Most of the passengers strapped themselves to their seats, those left standing on the way back and to from the bathrooms went flying down the aisle between all the rows of seats. Sarah never usually bothered to wear airplane seatbelts, but this time she tightened it round her stomach so fast it hurt! The plane shook uncontrollably and screams of panic deafened her ears. The windows looking outside cracked and split, as thin tunnels of air blew through the tiny gaps. The plane flipped over and over, spinning out of control.
