Beware Of Assassins

They're real!

By Joseph Roy WrightPublished 8 months ago 3 min read
With intent to kill!

Some people are willing to do anything for money. From prostitution to drug smuggling, there is no bounds to which some will go to. I personally despise con-artists, like how AI generated bullshit has flooded the internet (something I refuse to use by the way) with fake art, books and even music. Some even have the audacity to charge others for this soulless nonsense, it is despicable. Yet there are those who are far more degenerate than that, there are some whose will to make money, means to kill! That's right, out of all the crimes in the world like theft, arson and kidnapping, committing murder is by far the worst, even more despicable than torture. To take anyone else's's life for any price (not matter how high that number may be) is the vile and disgusting thing any human can do. If you're not a complete psychopath, killing someone will haunt your guilty conscience for the rest of your pathetic life. It wouldn't matter if you were an overnight millionaire, seeing the lights die out in your target's eyes would be the most traumatising sight ever. That's why some assassin's prefer to kill their targets from a great distance, using a sniper rifle from a high vantage point, typically a tall building. It's less personal that way, like completing an objective in a video game. It's still sick. Something nobody should ever do, only in extreme emergency situations like presenting a mass shooting or gang war between two armed rivals. Yet despite all this, some still kill solely for money and that alone is why humanity itself is truly doomed.

Tell tale signs to spot a modern day Assassin (or Hitman):

Some have bald heads and wear black suits (as if attending a funeral, which is very ironic).

They carry heavy briefcases or luggage bags, these may contain hidden weapons from guns to blades, perhaps a collection of different poisons.

Suspicious activity, if you ever see a masked man or woman at night, sneaking around in all black with a ski mask, they could either be burglars or plotting a murder!

One final warning! If you've pissed off the wrong people, those being organised criminals or corrupt government officials, then you may have an invisible red target painted upon your back. There is rumour that a big company of assassins work for either the military or government, keeping things in check by eliminating those who threaten to leak the world's top secrets. If you have seen something you shouldn't, be aware of the list I wrote above this paragraph. If you've seen anything remotely like this, please run for your life! Get away while you can, change your identity and move very, very far away. Even then, I cannot guarantee your safety. You may even find yourself in a restaurant, enjoying a tasty meal, only for it to be your last as it has been laced with some undetectable poison. Nobody is truly safe from these mysterious hired killers, not even you, dear reader!

Unfortunately it seems there really are assassins out and about in the real world, causing trouble, killing many, many people purely for profit, or perhaps out of some sick, sadist desire to see others suffer. I want you to stay safe out there, dear reader. This often cruel and unpredictable world can be full of as many pleasant surprises, as it can be full of nasty little shocks! So don't upset the wrong people, I'm deadly (pun intended) serious about that. I really, really am. I mean it from the bottom of my little heart. Much love, from your favourite writer in the whole wide world, Joseph Roy Wright.

You make some strong points about the lengths people will go for money, especially when it comes to murder. It's really messed up. I wonder, though, how do you think we can better educate people about the value of human life and the consequences of such extreme actions? Also, what do you think are the best ways to catch these so-called "assassins" before they carry out their deadly deeds?
