12 year old Marty Styles is sitting in his language arts class waiting for his best friend Cordell to show up. While waiting Marty is drawing a picture of what looks like a little kid wearing a red mask, a blue long sleeve shirt and a green cape. Stumbling in class at the sound of the late bell, Cordell rushes into class exhausted with his clothes crooked. “Nice of you to join us, Cordy” said the teacher, Mr. Michaels. “Sorry Mr. Michaels…there was a disturbance” Cordell replied.

Freddy Vs Jason: 2 Decades Later
So it’s mid-August 2003. Me, my mom, her boyfriend and my sisters are riding around Chapel Hill on a hot summer night making our way to the only 2 movie theaters in town so we could see one of the biggest movies of the summer: Bad Boys 2. The first theater we went to, which was called the Timberline was sold out. The second one we went to which was called the Plaza was also sold out. Mind you this is already one month after the film’s initial release. We were bummed that we couldn’t see Bad Boys 2, but we weren’t going home.

Back On Board
Bill Hunt, George Paxton and Mark Clooney are the local coastguard headed out to the ocean to see if they can find a lost speedboat, which was occupied by a group of four friends just three days ago. It is believed to be that the friends may have been swept up in a dangerous wave and were tossed out of their boat and into the ocean, possibly losing their lives. The trio are aboard their boat sailing into an approaching storm.

Setting Boundaries . Top Story - August 2024.
A relationship without boundaries is calamity waiting to happen. One of the biggest problems in every type of relationship known to man is a lack of boundaries. We need boundaries to have a healthy coexistence. If you don’t set boundaries you’re setting your relationship up for failure. What exactly is a boundary? By definition a boundary determines what is appropriate or inappropriate in a relationship. Without boundaries a relationship is destined for trouble.

Hip Hop Day
7:00p.m. August 11, 2024. Thousands of people have crowded the Artmore Coliseum for the 51st birth year celebration of Hip Hop. Nearly two dozen Hip Hop and R&B acts will be performing this night to commemorate more than 50 years of Hip Hop culture. One of the acts that will be celebrating the art of freestyle rapping is a group known as the “Free-O Trio”.
