🎶Drama in the inner city that we need to let go🎶
🎶Hip Hop media is how we all escaped the ghetto🎶
🎶Street poets are the ghetto witness of the world🎶
🎶They elevated the inner city above the world🎶
🎶We broke dances and turned tables🎶
🎶The rest of the world earned fables from all of our learned fables🎶
🎶Whether it was nihilism or racism🎶
🎶Hip Hop is the definition of ghetto escapism🎶
🎶Hip Hop was the young Black youth’s escape from the world🎶
🎶Eventually everyone loved this escape of a world🎶
🎶Ghetto escapism. No matter who’s the heart of it, everybody wants to be a part of it🎶
🎶Ghetto children unite and always know that you’re bright🎶
🎶Continue to let ghetto escapism be your flight🎶
