Zak Bagans' Haunted Museum: My Review
Let me start this by saying that I don't classify myself as a firm believer or a skeptic; I'm more along the lines of "I don't have to believe it, but I'm not going to mess with it anyway". I call that 'superstitious', and boy, am I.

The Death of a Personal Challenge
Yes, I am guilty. A month ago, I challenged myself to write a piece a day based on songs. I had my songs chosen at random and numbered. I did so good...for the first two weeks. Then I went on an amazing vacation that I sorely needed and the daily challenged was put to rest.

DNR. Content Warning.
(A/N: this specific version of this song is part of the intro to my favorite horror game, “Until Dawn”. The song is very haunting and I love it. But there is a long gap between the first verse and the second, which makes sense when playing the game but is kind of annoying when listening to just the song. Just so you know.)

Hand-Me-Down
Have you ever been told you'll get a car and it seems too good to be true? The current owner says it doesn't have too many miles on it, the paint is new, upholstery is perfect; just the overall best car that could have ever been. The current owner did an amazing job with this car. They wanted to keep it, but that's not an option so they have to give it away.

As It Should Be. Second Place in Small Kindness Challenge.
This is outrageous. Absurd. Why it's almost criminal! I have been sitting by my food bowl and staring at Mother for at least four days (I also don't know how to tell time). Does she not see me? Is she ignoring me?

Community/Reader Insights
Hello readers/writers! I don't know about you, but I have a lot of story ideas living rent-free in my head and it's time for them to vacate. Problem is, it's mostly snippets of ideas vs. a fully-fledged book. I will list out my ideas below and I would be so grateful if the members of the community could help me choose which story sounds most interesting to complete!

Snow? Snow!
Snow doesn't happen often in this small town. We're nestled in a valley with towering sapphire blue mountains hugging us from all sides; the tops of those mountains is where the snow lives during winter. Sometimes, rarely, there will be storm that gives a quick flurry of sleet, but it doesn't stick for longer than five minutes.

Arizona Sun
Summertime in Arizona is a scorching beast. We call it a "dry heat", because the only moisture to be found is coming from our bodies, seeping out the try to keep us desert lizards cool. The temperature starts to creep up into unbearable territory starting in March all the way to October, but the real survival test is those summer months.
