Mr. Ambitious
(This post is Part II check the previous post for part one of the teasers.) When you start a company they tell you to have a financial safety net, that way if you fall, the net will catch you. Well, I had fallen directly through that net and had sacrificed my car as well.

Creating The Authentic Self 1
This book was written in hopes to lead me to a deeper understanding of how I may get out of my own way. All information is based on the foundation that humans have a mind, a body, and one other aspect that is not easily defined. (Some would use words like soul and spirit) This book is encouraged for the reader who endeavors to efficiently use their minds and bodies to get more of what they want out of life.

I Love My Job Because...
To Mile High Optimist Club (CO/WY) My name is Elijah and I have been a member of the mile-high optimist club for three years. This letter, or article is a truly special opportunity to hear how being an optimism has had a profound positive impact on me, and the youth in our community.

Creating the Authentic Self
When writing this book, I was not sure if it would make it to completion, if it could be held or read by any but myself. Is it selfish or is it transparency? The answer to this question will be the answer to if these words make it into a finished book. I mention before each section that this book is made to help myself primarily, and hopefully others if it can.

Amir and Evelyn Sitting in a Pear Tree
AMIR'S FIRST GIRLFRIEND Amir once again folded then unfolded the small square lined paper that had been neatly removed from Evelyn Grahm's 3rd-period science composition book. Amir took the folded note and placed it back into his pocket. Amir's very large, dark eyes peered anxiously at the clock. He watched it tick, tick, and tick. Then Amir's arm went right into his pocket and he promptly pulled out the small square of lined paper that had been meticulously removed from Evelyn's composition book. Amir unfolded the letter then folded it again. Amir was actually aware that his behavior was completely irrational, he knew that her message had already been etched into his memory. Amir had read her note, at least 90 times since Evelyn snuck him the note ever so discretely in 3rd-period. Amir knew not to open the note at all during 3rd-period, he didn't even dare to glance her way ONCE, after their secret interaction. The contents of the note revealed that Amir had played his cards right by playing coy with Evelyn.

The "Long Thaw" & The History of Flag Football
There is this little-known story that I have heard about firestone park. It goes way back, and the origin story is just word of mouth. Although there is an incredible message and several older folks who believe the story to be true, there is no documentation of the story. I always love to tell it because after covering firestone park tournaments for nearly 25 years, I realized that stats, awards, and coverage are a great way to expose the greatness of our youth. I also realized that there are just certain athletes and certain individuals whose name only appears on the rosters, no jaw-dropping stats, no individual awards, sometimes they are not even on championship teams. But these same athletes and individuals, let's call them nameless ones, without the stats without awards these folks, never have their greatness exposed. And yet these players and these individuals make all the sacrifices, put in all the work, and achieve greatness in silence. It is these types of people and stories that I love to talk about the most.

Who is Mr. Brown? (Teaser)
Introduction to Mr. Brown’s Blog The questions are numerous, diverse, and almost unending. Is one man’s life better because he sees the glass as half full? Is it important to plan for the day, the week, the year? If a man does what he wants and not what he must, will he be fulfilled? Is a man who wears a suit happier than the man who does not shave or concern himself with material things? If a young man knows what he wants to be does he use all his energy trying to attain the ideal? Again, the questions are numerous, diverse, and almost unending. To me, the answers to any of the questions that arise from this reading do not matter. All that matters is what does this reading make you think, what does it make you feel? I believe there is a lot going on in the world and a lot of people trying to make sense of it. I wish to be above it, too enlightened or too woke. But we must be clear as to what do these words even mean. Well, the answers are once again diverse, numerous, and almost unending. Death comes to us all, but a dynamic life is arguably worth dying for. The truth is there is a glass with water in it, and the rest, well, that really just depends on you!
