Bio
I've been writing since I was in grade school. Poems, small articles, pieces to stories, & found I enjoy sharing. I'm a mother, writer, spiritualist, and local bartender, but always a mother first.

The Cabins in Georgia.
During my childhood, I was very blessed. I saw that then, I just understand it more now. I had a mother who cared for our home in the most patient of ways. She catered to us and cleaned. She spent a large amount of time involving herself in my school events and field trips, extracurricular activities, and hobbies.

Journal Entry
Today was a good day. I honestly don't know which direction I'm going anymore, I'm just going. I know what I want, and right now, that is to be in tune with my mind. I want to work on myself and personal goals. Get my house in line. Put some more money into savings. Build with my family. Make lasting memories.

Eric's Journal Entry. Content Warning.
I have picked up my journal multiple times over the last few days, but with no success in beginning how to even start an entry right now. I am devastated, and it will show the absolute most in my writing. It's also been really hard for me to put into words how I feel about this horrible loss.

Cambridge Drive. Top Story - April 2025.
A lot of people didn't get the pleasure of growing up in the same house for a long period of time. Some children moving from town or state with their families. Maybe even out of the country, never staying in the same place for long. Weather it be due to the parents career, or maybe other family members had made a move, so the rest followed. All of those people had their reasons. My parents had their reasons too. We stayed put in the same house for the most part of the first eight to nine years of my childhood.

Journal Entry
I don't often share personal pieces, such as my own journal entries, but I really wanted this one on my platform. It's not super short, but personal to me and it flowed well with the rest of my writings. I may start to add more of my personal entries into my work as time goes on, so here is a start in showing some of my journal work.

A cozy atmosphere of locals supporting each other.
There's nothing quite like a unique, handmade item. Some of my absolute favorite belongings are hand crafted and special, as there won't be one just like it anywhere else. As I matured more, I quickly gained a strong respect for anyone who hand made items of their own. Rather it be wooden displays they carved and painted, or paintings they brilliantly made into art, or a doll, made from cloth, burlap, beads and buttons, all of the different hand crafted items that could be made caught my eye everywhere I went and gave me a sense of inspiration that I wasn't aware of at the time.

Reading is food for the brain
Today, I wasn't kind. I didn't think before I spoke. I allowed my emotions to fog my thoughts and control my actions. I was not impeccable with my word, I took something personal, I made an assumption, and I unfortunately didn't do the best I could have in a situation. I do however, have the option to try again. Maybe not in the same setting or scenario, but I do and will have other chances to be impeccable with my word. To not make assumptions or take things personally, and I will have other moments where I can assert myself and do my best.
