My first love is poetry — it’s like a desperate need to write, to free up space in my mind, to escape the constant noise in my head. Most of the time the poems write themselves — I’m just the conduit holding the metaphorical pen.

My Greatest Masterpiece Gifted To The World
I woke early this morning as I desperately felt the need to write, but here I sit yet again. I’m at my writing desk, blank paper in front of me and a pen in hand. I sit staring out the window, looking for inspiration, but the words do not come.
