Radishes may relieve respiratory problems
I grew up in a county where everyone had a garden and ate healthy, except me. My cousins and friends would grab veggies straight out of the garden and eat apples, plums, pears, cherries, and persimmons right off the trees. For whatever reason, I had a strange appetite and no desire to eat fruits and veggies. As I got older and began understanding the role nutrition plays in our overall health, I began trying and enjoying more fresh foods. There are vegetables that I will eat when they are together in a garden salad, and radishes just happen to be one.

'I Got Your Goat' the meaning behind the phrase.
I got your goat-literally People in days gone by often say “ I got your goat” when they have annoyed or tricked someone or gotten the better of them in a situation. These words have been used in modern times similar to playing an April Fools Day joke. This phrase is not used so much now, but it can be heard on occasion. When I was a child if an individual told a tall tale they would say to the person who believed the story, "I got your goat."

Sunflower seeds and how they affect your health
Sunflower seeds are a delicious snack that is fun to eat and also are good for you. This product of the nut family is technically the fruit from the sunflower plant also known as Helianthus annuus. .Botanically speaking, however, seeds from sunflowers are a cypsela which is a "dry single-seeded fruit formed from a double ovary of which only one develops into a seed, as in the daisy family". When the shells are removed, the edible part is called the "meat", the sunflower kernel or the heart. In 2018, the global production of sunflower seeds was a staggering 52 million tons. Why we hang on to Holiday fantasies
In April of 1967 I was 11 years old. It was my first Easter in a different home we had moved into. On that Sunday morning, my younger brother and I walked to a local store but instead of staying on the road, we went through a wooded area that separated the road we lived on from the highway. We followed a well worn path and saw what looked to be animal tracts. We were jumping for joy as we believed we had found the Easter Bunny's trail. Not long after this my grandmother pulled me aside one day and told me I was old enough to know that the Easter Bunny was pure fiction. Instead of being disappointed, I felt grown up and proud that I was old enough to know what my two brothers still did not.
