The Heart of the Kingdom.
July 2029 had arrived over London like a gray flame. The city felt smaller, heavier, as if the air itself had thickened. Streets once crowded with tourists and chatter now echoed only with the footsteps of the few who remained. Airports operated at half capacity, a ghostly hum of machines and departing flights. Foreign nationals, anxious and wary, had returned to their countries in waves. Embassies posted terse bulletins, urging their citizens to leave while they still could. The United Kingdom had become a solitary island in a world that had once regarded it as central, now watching it with suspicion.

Song Review of Victory Boyd’s "I've Yet to Learn".
Victory Boyd’s I've Yet to Learn feels less like a song and more like a whispered journal entry made public. It is an offering of honesty set to melody, a confession delivered with tenderness and poise. The track is quiet in its manner but profound in its effect. It invites the listener to lean closer, to dwell inside the spaces between her words, and to hear not only music but the heartbeat of someone brave enough to be unfinished in front of us.

Writing Together, Respecting Boundaries.
Hi everyone😊. I wanted to take a moment to share some thoughts about something that happened recently. A fellow member reached out to me about another member and shared some unkind things about them. While I really value that we can form connections and even friendships outside of Vocal, I want to gently remind everyone that each writer’s journey is unique. We don’t owe anyone access to our personal lives.

Intentions, Influence, and the Art of Productivity.
Introduction: Productivity Beyond the To-Do List. At the start of this year, I wrote down a list of intentions, small but deliberate steps meant to guide my growth, both personally and professionally. Eight months in, I have achieved about 75 percent of them. That number is not perfection, but it is a reminder that productivity is not just about crossing items off a to-do list. For me, it is a reflection of who and what we allow to shape our thoughts, actions, and priorities. Productivity is a rhythm that grows when intention meets influence.

Nutella or Avocado: Why Moderation Tastes Better Than Extremes.
I am five three and weigh 130 pounds. That is about 59 kilograms. On paper, everything says I should feel fine about my body and what I eat. Yet somehow, I do not. Even now, even after years of struggling to find a healthy balance, I feel guilty when I eat. I have bounced from one extreme diet to another. Low carb, high protein, raw, juice cleanses, calorie counting, fasting. I tried them all. Some made me dizzy, some left me irritable, and a few I am almost certain made me physically sick. I recovered, yes, but the emotional scars linger. Food has felt like both a battleground and a reward, and I am tired of fighting.
