A friend of mine relinquished the idea that I was a “warrior of light”. I was discussing another friend’s toxic situation (with consent) and they asked if I was ever uncomfortable being around that deep level of negativity and toxicity; my immediate response was “no” because my friend is not toxic but their situation is & they need help. I find people describe me to me as resilient, courageous and incredibly strong; I normally do not perceive myself but I also do not think about those things frequently.

The art of conversation is dead. Over the years I have always paid attention to my surrounding and this includes my social media surroundings. It has always baffled me how people will utilize social media as a genuine gauge of an individual, without conversation or without being present; especially people who were not friends of mine or even enemy/neutral enemy. Social media is a form of expression, dare I say it is an “art”; but it does not replace genuine conversation. A true gauge of a person is when one can hear them speak and that does not provide a 100% reveal of who they are.
The friend zone is a myth. No seriously, it’s a myth; so please stop laughing sir. It is a poor false amicable description of unrequited selfish affection. Frequently, this term is coined with women placing men in the “friend zone”; but why? Does having a vagina wield the place of punishment to receive that blame opposed to the impressive skill to take a pounding, push things out and bounce back to normal? That’s a lot more I can say about a stiff board, but I digress.
Social constructionism is “that reality is socially constructed and that the sociology of knowledge must analyze the processes in which this occurs. The key terms in these contentions are “reality” and “knowledge,” terms that are not only current in everyday speech, but that have behind them a long history of philosophical inquiry.” (Berger &; Luckmann, The social construction of reality a treatise in the sociology of knowledge 2011) It is the internalized mental battle of what is perceived as facts as a shared thinking about the environment and groups of people.

Нет войне the chant of the people of Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia. The afternoon was filled with pain, cries, anger and a bond that requires no language to comprehend. I joined to Stand with Ukraine. I listened to stories of a woman who threw a jar of jam at a government drone flying by. I saw the sunflowers planting themselves firmly into the ground. It was a beautiful sight of people allowed to protest this war crime; protest the lies of one man who has too much power for too long.
It is the exhaustion It is the breathless games It is the daunting history The heavy memories you created It is exhausting
