My Review of "Ava"
Ava is an action movie that came out in 2020. As it came out in the year of the pandemic I don't think many people have heard of it. I think it had a ton of potential but there were too many elements of this movie that needed more meat. This movie could have probably benefited from being a TV series rather than a full out movie. It's too bad because the cast was great and they had so many great ideas.

My Review of "The Secret of My Success"
The Secret of My Success came out back in 1987 and it sure shows its age. You can tell that there would be a lot of raised eyebrows today if they read the script for this movie. Still it's always interesting to look back at some of the older titles to remember what the social norms were back in the day in contrast to what they are today.

My Review of "Fantasy Island"
Fantasy Island is a Blumhouse horror movie that's exclusive to Amazon Prime. It came directly to stream in 2020 so we didn't hear too much publicity about this movie. It's a pretty good cast for such a movie and the idea actually quite intriguing but the movie ultimately falls short closer to the end of the movie.

Vocal Media Payout: My second payout!
6 months ago I had written an article on my first Vocal Media payout. It did really well. The article had the most likes I've ever received for an article since the implementation of the "like" system. The new "like" system is pretty useful in order for me to gauge what people actually like or what people are just stumbling upon.

My Review of "1917"
1917 came out in 2019. A full 102 years after the events of the movie. The events that had happened in the movie were loosely based on stories that the director Sam Mendes had heard from his war veteran grandfather. I can't imagine anyone going through the situations that were described in this movie because the movie is disturbingly visceral and authentic.

My Review of "Miles Davis: The Birth of the Cool"
Miles Davis: The Birth of the Cool is a somewhat in depth look at the life of Miles Davis. There is so much information in this film that one has to wonder what they left on the cutting room floor when they made this documentary. It seemed like there was a lot of information was missing and they could have went into depth on so many different things but the runtime of the film held them back. It's a tough to balance entertainment, information and runtime when making documentaries like this.

Technology is making us into sheep.
So many of us think we know the answers to everything but really we're not even thinking for ourselves anymore. All of our answers are from articles we read from the Internet or popular opinions that we read on social media. It's hard not to be bombarded by these ideas. This is basically how advertisement works. It's not your fault that you're thinking these things. Algorithms and data structures have been studying you carefully throughout the years.

Follow up to My Review of the "Yamaha RX-V6A"
Well I still stand by my review of the Yamaha RX-V6A from my review of the Yamaha RX-V6A. I just have a little more information about the unit now that I've played around with it for about a month now. All of my previous mentions are still pretty accurate about the unit but now I know a little more about it.

How to buy a gift for someone that doesn't want anything.
It's the holidays and that time of year where you have to run around looking for a gift for that someone that is unbearably hard to buy for. I've been stuck with this task year after year and it's terrible because I always get them last minute things. I'm not going to give you an easy way out like you're probably expecting me to do but I will give you some tips.

Sometimes you're forced to travel alone
During my late 20's there was a time when I started to make some money but my friends weren't. Some were busy doing other things. In these fork in the roads you have to choose to do things yourself. If you don't then you're going to miss out on opportunities. So there were a few instances when I went out and travelled alone.

My Review of "Terminator: Dark Fate"
Terminator: Dark Fate is the latest Terminator sequel that had come out in 2019. As much as people didn't like Terminator: Genisys, I actually think that movie was better than this one. At least the rules of the story were consistent and I didn't question so much of the movie. This one was very odd and I'll tell you why.

My Review of "His House"
His House is a horror movie that came out not too long ago in 2020 exclusively to Netflix. This film had a ton of potential and I really wish they'd make one with some slight changes to it. Still there was a lot of great art direction to this movie and the idea was still very interesting. I just thought it kind of fell a little flat for me.
