My Review of "The Muppet Christmas Carol"
The Muppet Christmas Carol is as fun as the title indicates. It came out back in 1992 when movies weren't quite as political as they are nowadays. The movie pretty much follows the classic story to a T but with the quirky Muppet twist to things.

My Review of "Break"
Break is a French movie that came out back in 2018. Initially I thought this was going to be a breakdance movie because of the name and the fact they mentioned that there was some sort of bboy battle. This was kind of a trojan horse to lead me to this movie. It is hardly a breakdance movie but it's not an entirely terrible movie either.

My Review of "Ariana Grande: Excuse Me, I Love You"
Ariana Grande: Excuse Me, I Love You is definitely not the documentary that it's trying to sell itself to be. It is more of a concert video than full out documentary. Sure there are glimpses in seeing what goes into the production of her grandiose productions but there are only snippets.

My Review of "Palm Springs"
Palm Springs just came out in December of 2020. I have to admit it was one of my anticipated movies of the year when I first heard about it through a trailer. I'm a sucker for Groundhog Day movies. The most recent ones that came out was Happy Death Day and Happy Death Day 2 U. They put a nice little horror element to it but it wasn't really scary. Palm Springs adds a few new twists to this genre as well.

My Review of "Dora and the Lost City of Gold"
Dora and the Lost City of Gold came out quietly in theatres in 2019. It's a big surprise to me that there was little fanfare for this movie as Dora The Explorer was a very popular cartoon for kids back in the day. Now she's grown up and still exploring. I think those that grew up watching that show might want to check this movie out.

My Review of "Schulz Saves America"
Schulz Saves America is a comedy series by Andrew Schulz that came out in 2020. The material that is talked about is very much like a comedy newscast much like the daily show or other shows of that nature. His episodes are however much shorter and are focused on specific topics for each episode.

My Review of "Life in a Year"
Life in a Year is a movie that I could see being targeted directly to adolescents so obviously I'm not going to get it. Bare with me as I explain why I think it hit the right notes but also fails in my eyes. I can see how a lot of people may enjoy this movie and it does the right things to cater to its target audience. Movies aren't supposed to be real they're supposed to give us ranges of emotions and immerse us into their worlds.

My Review of "Stage Mother"
Stage Mother is a feel good movie that game out in 2020. It's currently streaming on Amazon Prime for free as I write this. I wasn't too sure what to make of this movie but in the end I was delighted by a heartwarming story with an upbeat perspective. It's got a story that we kind of need nowadays.

My Review of "Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales"
Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is one of the big launch titles for the PlayStation 5 in 2020. I've been a little worried playing it because so far everything that I've bought from for the PS5 including the PS5 have been buggy. There's a good chance that this game isn't quite as finished as it should be seeing as they had to hit a certain deadline to coincide with the PS5 launch.

My Review of "Get Duked!"
Get Duked is a coming of age story that came out in 2019. I've never heard of this title before but it seemed like a fun concept. Although I wasn't expecting much from this movie it was actually better than I had anticipated. That's not to say it was remarkable. I could tell it was targeted to a younger audience though.

Working on Myself and Others at the Same Time
As a dancer in a competitive world you have conflicting thoughts when you think of practice. You have so much to work on but the concept of competition means that you kind of want to isolate in order for others not to learn your secrets. Sometimes we have to look at things in general instead of within. It's always tough to do this when you have a goal but I would say it's actually a rewarding thing. I learned this over the years.

My Review of "Happiest Season"
Happiest Season is a surprise romantic comedy that came out late in 2020. I didn't expect to like this movie as much as I did. For many it would look like a movie about a lesbian couple trying to find the right time to come out of the closet to the family. Instead I think it's a more than that and I believe a lot of us can actually relate to this movie.
