My Review of "Venom: The Last Dance"
Venom: The Last Dance is one of the last movies I thought I'd see in 2024. Some of you may remember how much I hated the Venom: Let there be carnage. That was only 3 years ago, but I'm still traumatized by how terrible that movie was. Somehow, I was coerced to see this movie and I'm glad to say that it was better than that last movie.

My Review of "Agatha All Along"
Agatha All Along has finished up and I have to say it was quite a ride. I was a fan of the WandaVision. I was hoping that the same clever fun would be had in this season of Agatha All Along. Thankfully it did. If you're a fan of WandaVision you'll feel right at home with this season. It carries over a lot of that same feeling from WandaVision into this show. This makes sense because the two shows are related.

My Review of "Wild Robot"
Wild Robot is a coming of age movie about identity. It came out recently in the theatres and not starting to show up on streaming. Initially, I came into this movie not knowing much and I think that's probably the best way of getting into it. If you haven't checked it out already. This is probably one of the best animated features of the year. I just saw Transformers One this week too. That was a great animated movie as well. Great animated features are back!

My Review of "Transformers One"
Transformers One is a movie that I was a little hesitant to watch at first. I didn't want to watch it in theatres but a friend of mine came to me with glowing praise. It piqued my interest. Still, I thought to myself, I can't get over the art direction in the trailer. Boy was I happy that I forgot about my doubts about this movie and checked it out. There's a lot to like about this one and it was way better than I had anticipated.

My Review of "Family Matters: Season 2"
Family Matters: Season 2 aired back in 1991. The first season was a bit of a growing pains situation. It was trying to find what kind of show it was and in a sense this season continues that search. Though, this season does feel more like the show that I know and remember than the first season. There's some interesting points and some things that I didn't realize about the show either.

My Review of "Joker: Folie à Deux"
Joker: Folie à Deux has finally arrived. I've actually been looking forward to this movie for quite some time. Needless to say, it was one of my highly anticipated movies for 2024. Maybe I had high expectations but this one didn't quite hit the mark. That's not to say there weren't some nice elements to this movie.

My Review of "The Bear: Season 3"
The Bear: Season 3 is one of my hotly anticipated seasons to watch this year. I have been catching up with the last 2 seasons with no effort. This show has been top notch from start to now. It's such a pleasure to watch this series but this one is starting to fall into familiar territory. That's not necessarily a bad thing but there are certain things that feel a little expected more this time than previous seasons.

My Review of "House of Dragons - Season 2"
House of Dragons - Season 2 has finished up. It was one of the hotly anticipated TV shows I've been waiting for in 2024. To my surprise I had a lot of ups and downs with this season. As usual they had a pretty slow start and get better closer to the end but in some ways it felt a little more lacking than I was hoping for. That's not to say it wasn't a good season. Maybe my expectations are too high.

My Review of "Inside Out 2"
Inside Out 2 is a sequel that I didn't really think was necessary. Seeing as Pixar has a patchy track record with their sequels I was really hesitant to watch this one. I was kind of right in my apprehension. That's not to say that it's a horrible movie. This movie is quite serviceable but ultimately quite forgettable.

My Review of "300"
300 is an epic action movie based on a graphic novel. The movie came out back in 2006 and I remember loving this back in the day. I wasn't sure how I'd appreciate it now so many years later but I was hoping it would still shine. In some ways, I still enjoyed it as I did so many years back but I also see some issues.

My Review of "Speed Racer"
Speed Racer is a movie made in 2008, based off a popular kids cartoon from the 1960s. I haven't ever really seen the original cartoon so a lot of the nuances and throwbacks that they have in this movie are lost on me. Even though I haven't seen the cartoon, this is probably how I would have expected a live adaptation version would have been realized. This movie looks like it's for kids but the way it plays out doesn't exactly feel like it.

My Review of "Deaner '89"
Deaner '89 is a comedy coming of age story that was released in 2024. I wanted to check this movie out right away in my theatres because I loved the trailer. The problem was that the trailer advertised an entirely different movie than it actually is. There are elements of it in there but I felt a little bamboozled in the end.
