You Were Never Really Here?
Sometimes, early in the morning when the sun is just peeking over the horizon, I wonder if you were ever really here. Did I just imagine having a big brother, Peter, who was my world? Or are you like my imaginary friend, Peter Jack, who was never really here. Although since his name was Peter Jack, I tend to think I named him after you and Uncle Jack. Uncle Jack, who was always willing to get right down on the floor to play at my level. He was the best!

A Forgotten Hero on the Titanic
Everyone knows the story of the Titanic sinking into the North Atlantic Ocean after hitting an iceberg on April 14, 1912 and the recounting of all the stories from that night are moving and speak of survival and tragic loss, but have you ever heard the long forgotten story of John Harper? The Loves of My Life
Love can be warm and wonderful or dark and full of despair. I have experienced both. I have been in love four times in my life. Or thought I had. Turns out I was really only in love once with my best friend and husband of almost 30 years, Alan.

A Dark and Stormy Night
I am cold and my skin is turning color from the freezing air. The snow is gently falling as it has been for the last four hours. I am thinking the temperature has to be well below freezing as the beautiful quiet flakes fall to the ground and add to the ever increasing depth. I am not quite sure where I am but I am convinced I will be frozen by morning.
