“I can’t do this.”

What do those words mean?

My feelings are hurt and tears begin to flow.

I think our love has failed.

I walk away but have we solved anything?

Remorse is on his horizon, too little, too late.

Petals still on the floor.

Family and friends looking at me awkwardly.

Did he have to do this here?

I run back down the aisle without my self-esteem.
