Is Discipline The Same As Perfection?
Staring at the audience in the conference room on the tenth floor of the Lancer’s Building, Gloria Madden nodded from the head of the twelve-foot wooden table, then turned to her boss and said, “I am sorry, but I can’t take the position you are offering me.”

Can I Use What’s In My Brain As HRT?
Thanks to poverty, I had an impatient life, so I missed puberty. I thought life saved me, because I witnessed the mental, emotional, and psychological damage it does to many teens. I couldn’t bypass Menopause. I am feeling everything. I think puberty and Menopause are ganging up on me. Every day, I am in pain. I feel everything ten times more.

I Didn’t Ask To Be Strong
Dear Life, I didn’t ask to be strong, but being born in poverty, a fight for life began at birth. I had to fight for everything that I needed. I had an impatient life, so puberty passed me by. I had to grow up faster than the speed of light. You demand that I do. I am glad it did because of the emotional, mental, and psychological damage it has done to many teenagers I know; I don’t regret it not coming my way.

Is Kindness A Mistake
I went to pick up something from someone a few years ago and heard a female cursing a child. He couldn’t be more than eleven or twelve years old. I picked up what I came for, but I couldn’t leave. The mother in me wouldn't allow me to leave this child without encouraging him. My heart breaks for how she was treating him. The things she was telling this child shouldn’t be said to anyone. I thought she was cruel.

How Do You Grieve?
I accompanied an older female to the clinic for her regular checkup. After getting her number and waiting for her to call to be registered, we sat in a line of blue chairs inside. A female came and sat in front of us. After telling us good morning, she sat down and began to do the puzzle in the Daily Star.

How Does Kindness Feel?
Kindness can save lives .— Annelise Lords It began to drizzle while I was waiting for a robot taxi after coming from the market with my heavy bags last Thursday. So, I was forced to drive with someone who went too fast and didn’t obey the road code often. None of the guys who drove safely were there. I didn’t want to get wet, so I silently prayed and boarded her taxi.

Dividend Youth Pays For Aging
The elderly population in my culture isn’t doing well. Many of them must be out there fighting life with the young. Many are asked, “What were you doing when you were young? Why didn’t you plan your life better? Didn’t you think you would get old? Or maybe you didn’t believe you would live this long?”

How Aware Are You Of The Life You Are Living?
P.S. This story is true, but was written this way to protect the innocent. Carla ignored the call after glancing at her cellphone. It ran ten more times. Her instincts alerted her, and she closed her laptop. She was about to exit her office when her door burst open and her cousin Pamela barged in, demanding, “You’re not answering your phone!”

Can Females Force Their Husbands, Boyfriends, or Male Relatives to Be Healthier?
Listening to the six o’clock news this morning, these words sent my blood pressure up: “Females must force and demand that their husbands, boyfriends, brothers, fathers, grandfathers, and other males in their lives start taking their health seriously. Demand that they eat healthier and go out and exercise!”

What My Heart Said
I was asked, “Why did you decide to let your heart speak?” Born with a generous heart, kindness was an involuntary action for me. I didn’t know how else to be. I love giving and sharing, and I want it. So, I gave it to everyone without a thought.
