Kindness Is Delicious!
How was your first taste of kindness?

Mine was delicious, and all of them stayed with me as the many delicious foods I enjoyed and shared.
This is my breakfast today. It’s Green Plantian porridge. It’s made with dates, almonds, old-fashioned oats, vanilla powdered soy milk, a pinch of salt, and sweetened with magnolia condensed milk. That slice of whole wheat bread is homemade. It’s made with fresh homemade coconut milk, extra virgin olive oil, raisins, prunes, cranberries, and apricots, flavored with vanilla, almond essence, cinnamon, and shredded coconut pieces on the outside.

It’s delicious and healthy. It doesn’t look enticing, but it tastes gggooooooddd and will sustain me for hours while making me stronger!
That’s how kindness works. It sustains, heals, helps, protects, and guides from deep within us, like the foods we eat. But only if we know its value and appreciate it. I fell in love with the taste of kindness as a child. A teacher was cruel to me, but something transformed her, and she gave me so much kindness that it instantly erased the pain and shame I felt. I became an addict. It became an involuntary action for me.
My breakfast doesn’t look as beautiful or enticing as my Abstract Tea Art below.

But it adds more value to my body, mind, heart, and soul. Kindness does the same to our lives, as it’s more than food and stays with the receiver sometimes for generations. It doesn’t come wrapped in ribbons, looking pretty. Its actions are calm and comforting while sharing hope and love. It heals from the inside, sending a positive impact to those who know its value, appreciate, and share it, allowing it to grow.
The delicious taste of Kindness goes deeper than the foods we eat and has the power to influence lives, mindset, and mood, while igniting our creative, innovative imagination positively. Kindness can be water in the desert when you are thirsty. A warm coat or blanket when you are cold. Direction when you are lost. A meal when hungry.
An uplifting word, a simple idea, or a smile and a different attitude. Understanding when you forget something important. Consideration when you lack something. Forgiveness when you do something stupid. Gratitude when you make a mistake and teach someone vital life lessons. A thought when you need it. Hope to move on and don’t give up—reasons to stay alive.
Our world can exist without cruelty, but humanity will cease to exist without the Kindness many beautiful hearts keep adding to our world.
Kindness is as delicious as our breakfast and many other meals we feast on. It should not only be savoured, but understood, valued, appreciated, shared, and allowed to grow to feed and heal our world.
Sorry, I am ranting because I can’t understand how kindness means nothing to many humans. This rant is from an incident I witnessed where someone gave their ass away and had nothing to pass their feces through.
It’s a saying in my country that goes, ‘you give away your ass and sh*t through your ribs.’
None of the kindness she gave had any value to the individual who took it.
Kindness is as delicious as my bread, mango-banana coconut milk smoothie, barbecue chicken, Jamaican style, sweet potato puddings, Jamaican Christmas wine cake, etc.
How does Kindness taste to you?

I love Kindness, and you are going to get it whether you like it or not, then I walk away. I refuse to add more hatred and cruelty to a world already raging in pain . Annelise Lords
