Old Maui. Content Warning.
He didn’t have the nickname when I first knew him. Rumours flew about him, about his connections in Congress. But no one knew much about his history. Only that we had been assigned to his company, a mission to restore order to the Hawaiian territory. Not that we knew much about the situation on the ground before we landed.

Closing Announcement. Top Story - August 2024.
TL/DR at the bottom, following this symbol "-0-" Again comes the sound of ringing bells. Again heads turned or poked out of windows at the crier’s approach. His passage is slow, allowing all residents of Vocalia to know of his coming, and rush their stories, all crafted with such care, to the collection box upon the village green.

Hear ye! Hear ye!. Top Story - July 2024.
TL/DR at the bottom, following this symbol "-0-" With a sound like the ringing of tiny bells, a horseman approaches the town. Heads turn as he passes, attention caught by the speed and clamour. A gentle sound, despite the speed of his horse, a sound that calls all passersby to pay attention. To gather round him on the village green and listen to his decree.

Crossroad. Content Warning.
A tree stands alone at the end of a long and winding road. It marks the end of one journey and the beginning of others. Before its twisted, ancient trunk, the road splits in two, the only place since its beginning when it had done so. To one side or the other, all travellers must go.

An Unique Experience
Yesterday I went to a tantric speed dating event. A good friend of mine roped me into this because he is recently joining the dating world and claimed to be seeking moral support. In truth, he thought my reaction to such an event would be hilarious and if he brought a friend then he would save $15+ off the initial ticket price.
