WRITING AS A WAY OF LIFE

The origin of writing,started from The cuneiform script, created in Mesopotamia, present-day Iraq, ca. 3200 BC, was first. It is also the only writing system which can be traced to its earliest prehistoric origin. This antecedent of the cuneiform script was a system of counting and recording goods with clay tokens.What is Writing?.Is writing limited to filling the paper with words?.Can anyone write?.Does writing really require practicing?.Well,there are answers to every questions.Come with me,as I take you on this short but sweet ride into writing.

Writing is not just about filling the empty spaces in our notes with words.Writing is Art.Writing is life.Writing is an expensive but cheap skill.Writing is feelings.Writing is thinking.Writing is emotions.Writing is communication.Writing is understanding.Writing is exploring.Writing is a realm.Writing is Liberty.Writing is a way of life.The Question of the day,is,what does writing really entail.According to Wikipedia,Writing is a cognitive and social activity involving neuropsychological and physical processes and the use of writing systems to structure and translate human thoughts into persistent representations.Writing renders language visible; while speech is ephemeral, writing is concrete and, by comparison, permanent. Both speaking and writing depend upon the underlying structures of language. Consequently, writing cannot ordinarily be read by someone not familiar with the linguistic structure underlying the oral form of the language. Yet writing is not merely the transcription of speech; writing frequently involves the use of special forms of language, such as those involved in literary and scientific works, that would not be produced orally.As human societies emerged, collective motivations for the development of writing were driven by pragmatic exigencies like keeping track of produce and other wealth, recording history, maintaining culture, codifying knowledge through curricula and lists of texts deemed to contain foundational knowledge (e.g., The Canon of Medicine) or to be artistically exceptional (e.g., a literary canon), organizing and governing societies through the formation of legal systems, census records, contracts, deeds of ownership, taxation, trade agreements, treaties, and so on.Teachers writing on the board,students copying notes,is also writing but is that all to writing?.Like students, teachers need to feel supported and have motivation. It is mentioned by Renae Mattson to ensure new learners understand the material being taught, there must be programs to build up teachers' overall confidence.In order to improve, student writing, it is important that a teacher's knowledge of certain subjects be examined. In order for the new learners to comprehend what is being taught, there must be more programs in which teachers' confidence is developed.Just like new learners need support to feel comfortable, teachers do as well.Writing requires understanding.Writing without understanding is like movement without directions or threshold.It has to do with communicating with our inner thoughts and feelings,going beyond and above our imaginations,thinking as if,there is another life outside your present.A life filled with impossible imaginations.Are you communicating with yourself,while writing,if you are unable to communicate with yourself and understand,how will the audience understand,learn and grasp the information you are passing through.It is important to make sure that you carry your audience along and they feel every piece of writing.There are many approach to writing.I will share five simple keys to writing,which I love to refer to as, CARACTS

4.Simple language giving ease to interpretation

6.Communication

Writing is a skill for everyone.How we advance that skill is what matters.When we practice writing and do it frequently,we become better versions of ourselves and there will be evident improvements.Writing can be fiction and non fiction.Ideas can be gotten from people’s experiences or even our own experiences.You need to be able to craft your experiences into writing.Writing can also help you heal from wounds that life invariably inflicts on everyone.
