This topic is a very sensitive but important one.A lot of people do not recognize their skin type.As a result,we use products or introduce chemicals that do not suit our skin,some end up reacting badly.It has led to damages of the skin for some people.Skin diseases is a very common thing among people.Everyone can benefit from a regular, daily skincare routine targeted at its needs, no matter what skin type. Understanding “what is my skin type” is key to adopting the proper skincare routine for your particular skin type. Sometimes,our intake of food also affects our skin.Some of the major issues people have with their skin,such as;pimples,Acne,blackheads,dark spot on parts of the body,Eczema etc can be treated effectively if you adopt a skincare routine that works for you.You can as well consult a dermatologist.Setting up a skincare routine that works best for you can be admittedly challenging but it gets easier with the knowledge of your skin type.Your type depends on things such as:How much water is in your skin, which affects its comfort and elasticity,How oily it is, which affects its softness,How sensitive it is.There are several skin types.You might as well fall under some of this categories,your skin type can change overtime.
1.COMBINATION SKIN:A facial skin type categorized by a combination of dry and oily skin, especially when the T-zone produces more sebum than the rest of the face.Combination skin can have ;Shiny skin,Pores that look larger than normal and blackheads.Your routine for a combination skin can be;

3.SENSITIVE SKIN TYPE:Sensitive skin is often referred to as a skin type, but it's possible to have oily sensitive skin, dry sensitive skin, or normal sensitive skin. Sensitive skin is a skin condition in which skin is prone to itching and irritation experienced as a subjective sensation when using cosmetics and toiletries.The routine here can be;

- Moisturizer
- Sunscreen
4:OILY SKIN TYPE:When the skin produces excessive sebum, it becomes heavy and thick in texture, known as oily skin. Oily skin is typified by shininess, blemishes and pimples.Skincare routine can be;
- Cleanse day and night
- Exfoliate 2x a week at night
- Treat skin with actives at night
- Moisturize day and night
- Apply SPF every day
5.DRY SKIN: many cases, dry skin is caused by external factors such as the weather, low air humidity and immersion in hot water, and it is usually temporary. However,several research have also made it known that using of hot water could dry up the skin,preferably ,it is advisable to use use warm or cold water.Moisturizing the skin is very important.Skincare routine can be;
