Me And Pixabay Once More

A Lucrative Couple Of Months

My Latest Pixabay Stuff

Introduction

Since my issues started with Vocal (and they are still going on), my coffee money has dropped, although I have had tips from a supportive friend on here.

I am getting back to my normal number of reads and expect around nine dollars from January reads. The system, if I have got it right, won't allow me any Top Stories as all my new work, including this, is from recycled, old Vocal stories.

I also have $30 waiting from Ambassador payments

It could be that they don't rate my work and think nobody wants to read it, or they think I get enough reads anyway, so don't need the exposure of a Top Story.

It's now forty days since they last contacted me, and nearly sixt days since I found I could not publish new stories. Because of those numbers, I've included Chuck Berry's "Forty Days"

But this is not about Vocal, but I thought I would let you know where it's at.

Me And Pixabay Once More

I create AI Art on Nightcafe (Is it really art though?) Then I make them available for free on my Pixabay store, although people can leave me a tip via PayPal and here's the rub.

I have started receiving tips for my work on Pixabay, mostly around $5, but I had one for $30, but they come through is pounds, dollars and euros. The funny thing is, each occurrence has to be withdrawn to my bank account separately, although they are converted to pounds.

I had a tip for one euro, which I could not withdraw until I got another euro payment, as it was less than the minimum PayPal limit for withdrawal (one pound for me), so coffee money is coming from other sources.

I have also started adding travel photographs, so that may be the reason for the tips, but I can't be sure. I always send a thank-you email, but as yet, I still don't know which pictures are effectively selling.

I have just over a thousand images (25% are photographs), but just under six thousand likes and over seventy-five thousand downloads. That's ten downloads per like, c'est la vie.

So Pixabay is turning out reasonably lucrative to me.

Amazon Addendum

My Amazon books, especially the collaboration with Angie Livingstone, are still selling quite well, so that is a little more money coming into my account each month.

Conclusion

So the situation is, I am getting reads, I am not paying for my V+ subscription, so coffee-wise I am in an excellent place.

Thank you for reading.

Do you think it's worth uploading old photos to Pixabay? I have a bunch of old nature photos on my phone.
