I never realized how many bills can pile up until I got a car. We don't even drive it that much or often since we work from home, but jeez. Bills be piling for everything lately. And when your brain is preoccupied with work, errands, and BILLS, creativity tends to suffer.

The Lighthouse Keeper’s Secret
Chapter One: The Fog Rolls In The waves thundered like distant thunder over the worn rocks of Halver’s Point, a beach so remote that neighbors spoke of it only to those near at hand. The lighthouse, perched on the toothed cliff, stood firm as the Atlantic tempest clawed at its battered sides. Toward the top, the quivering light strove through the thick, writhing fog — a beacon to ships and maybe to earth-dwellers.
