Wesley's 2024 Year in Review
2024 has been full of ups and downs for yours truly. However, as this year comes to a close, all that we can hope for is that 2025 will treat us kindly. In my final story of 2024, I'll be highlighting several important stories I've written. Before I begin with that, I want to remind everyone that to please send me a one-off tip, big or small, at the end of this story. They'll support creators like me to bring you the stories and poems that we'd want to share. Let's end this year on a high note and finally, please follow me on social media. This World Is My Grave. I’ve Died In It Countless Times . AI-Generated.
Introduction Life can sometimes feel like a cycle of endings and beginnings, where each fall feels like a little death. The poetic notion of "dying countless times" in this world isn't about physical death but the emotional, mental, and spiritual transformations we endure. It's about the pain of loss, the death of dreams, and the shedding of old selves to make way for growth.

A Cup of Fiction
A Cup of Fiction, Portal Fiction Hello, and Good morning. It is another fabulous day. Whatever your Morning entails, I hope you will make A Cup of Fiction a part of it. As I write this, it is a Sunday morning. At the moment, I am sipping a cup of coffee and pondering, what next? You will usually find me sitting, sipping, and reading a few Medium articles on Sunday mornings. Then, I will read a bit of whatever book I am currently into and ponder my own writing for the day. What does your Sunday morning look like? I enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing. If only we had more time. At the moment, I am reading a Speculative Fiction novel in the Subgenre category of Portal Fiction.

Quaint celebrations around the world to usher in the new year
As the clock ticks away the final moments of the year, people around the world engage in their unique rituals and traditions to bid farewell to the past and welcome the new. Whether it's the chimes of midnight grapes in Spain, the first footsteps in Scotland, or the echoes of temple bells in Japan, these customs are as diverse as the cultures they represent.

… I left my heart in Barcelona
Well, for me it’s definitely Barcelona. Where do I even begin this story? It was February 2018 – I was in England and in a desperate need of some faraway place and a recharge. I remember searching the Skyscanner deals: from Manchester – to Anywhere, yeah this was my criteria… Anywhere. That’s how I took a veeery spontaneous trip to Barcelona.

Awkward...
Inspo: A grumpy pessimist and an outgoing ball of sunshine It all began with a vest of flowers. Honeysuckle, baby's breath, arborvitae. White and green. The concoction of greenery smelt the greatest in the morning’s maternal muffling, and felt it’s best time of renewal during the sombre evenings – dusted with the kisses of purples and glares of reds. Sometimes, the flowers swayed one way, and in another way once some other lovely soul caught its gaze.
