What gives me peace is knowing that the Lord is good, all the time!
Even when things aren’t going well, or when I’m not feeling my best, He is good! Always!
And on difficult days, He is our strength, our refuge! Deep down, we need Him; we need our source because we are extensions of Him!
And while reading this verse, it almost brought me to tears because the Lord knows those who trust in Him! The funny thing is that this is so obvious, yet we struggle so much, forgetting that God knows those who trust Him!
Honestly, we have everything we need to live "at peace," because He is everything we need and, deep down, everything we want (though we realize this only when we reach a higher state of consciousness).
God is good, all the time!

Seattle Nightlife Report: Pony
Mid-winter Friday night. Early but already so dark. The days are getting longer but 6 PM is still pitch black. “Firepit!” You declare things after just a few seconds of solemn thought – not a request or suggestion, not a demand. Last week you walked around saying, “Hot tub?” to anyone who would listen. Or one afternoon you pointed at two men holding hands as they crossed 12th Avenue, looked me in the eyes and said, “Boyfriends.”
