Writing on Vocal
I was twenty and attending university. I sat in the second row, second seat in, it's where I chose to sit in all my classes. I decided to take an evening creative writing course because it was something I would look forward to sharing ideas, creative perspectives and of course stories. The professor had mixed reviews on rate my prof. I came into class having very low expectations. However, i was proven wrong many times because this professor made us do the most creative projects. I remember one project specifically where he made us go on a walk around our block and write down every word we see and then write a poem. I had so much fun attending that class, but on the very last class he said something, which I will remember to this day: "write whatever weird stuff you want because chances are no one is going to read it anyway". For most people they found that discouraging, for me I was suddenly motivated to write anything and to "put it out there in the world" as they say. I was so worried about what people would think that I was easily discouraged to write what I wanted.
