ViM's long-awaited March Prompt - Promises for Tomorrow - is here! We appreciate the patience everyone showed while we prepared for this exciting challenge! Now, with no further fanfare, so you don't have to wait any longer, here's the challenge!

Write 600 words about a promise to yourself that, if kept, will help make the near future a better and brighter place. What pledge can you take today that would have the most impact on your future and help shape it into the destiny you dream about? What steps can you take to bring your dream to life? Will this only benefit you or the community around you? Only you can answer these questions, and ViM wants to know.

Post your entries into the Motivation Community. Listing in any other community will disqualify your entry!

Entries will be accepted from March 16 to March 28, 2025. Judging will begin on March 29 and end on April 5, 2025.

First place will receive $10

Second place will receive $5

Third place will receive $2

That's it! That's all you have to do! So, write your entries and get them submitted! We judges over at ViM can't wait to read your submissions!

πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…πŸŒ…

ViM would like to encourage you to check out L.K.'s Could YOU be An Award Winning Script Writer? She's extended the submission date to March 30, 2025, and I hear that the grand prize is fantastic. So, get your scripts turned in to L.K. to win a terrific prize!

    Uhhh kinda good.

  • I've added this to the March Unofficial Vocal Challenges post

  • Well I never really promised myself this but to make the world a better place, I've always hoped for humans to go extinct. Animals and plants can stay. I feel humans need to be wiped out for the Earth to repair itself. Not sure if I can make this into 600 words though πŸ˜…πŸ˜… Mr Brain is currently working on a story and it's thanks to you. Remember that guy that sent me a threat because I laughed at that woman cutting of her husband's dick. You suggested that I write him into a story and finally I got an idea and convinced Mr Brain to write it hehehe

  • Sounds interesting. Something like a pledge for St. Patrick's Day.

  • Ok, on this.

  • Very good work πŸ‘

Love this one! We need more positivity in our lives, and this is a great way of sharing some. I'm doing quite a bit at the moment but will try to squeeze something in this week-end. Thank you!
