After My Vocal Disaster
A Lot Of Good Came Out Of It

Introduction
I tend to get about fifty reads a day, but around the 13th of May, I became unable to publish stories. It the period marked in yellow (May 14th - 22nd), I was unable to publish on this account and reads dropped to around 22 a day, hitting 14 at the lowest point.
The music is UB40's cover of Bob Marley's "Keep On Movin'" from their "Labour Of Love" album, and at times my work on Vocal is a labour of love, and throughout this I did keep on movin'.
A Bit More Detail
I had already thanked Vocal fro their help on my backup account with this story:
This story documented the situation in situ:
I also got a Top Story on the backup account, which was unexpected:
And I found this story which I could not believe that I wrote. I think it is rather excellent:
What this showed is that if we don't publish regularly, then our reads do actually drop.
I had some excellent dialogue, and we found there was a limit on the number of stories that Creators can publish, 3,000. Although I have published a lot, it is because I have published regularly over my four years on Vocal, but with the limits dropped for the number of words in a lot of communities and the number of short form poems being produced, I expect many Vocal Creatures to surpass my numbers published.
Vocal has removed the story number limit, so I believe Vocal and I have made the future better for all genuine Vocal Creators.
Conclusion
So this is a second thank you to Vocal and everyone who continually reads my work, and was still reading when I could not publish on this account (even though I kept going with twenty or so stories on my backup account).
Thank you everyone once more, with out you I could never do this.

Once again, I'm so glad they got this all worked out <3
Great news, though admittedly I would still have had a long way to go to reach that limit, lol.
Of all of the reasons (?) issues that this could have been happening- I NEVER thought of a story cap!
I really like reading your articles for I always learn a lot from them. Good job.
Can't publish, can't comment. All a part of the fight for survival. I feel bad when I publish a lot, maybe I should take a page from your book. Lots going on. Patience is a virtue.
Such a relief that you got your account back. Again, I'm so sorry that happened to you
Same thing happened with me ,it's happy to see your growth again, keep it up
So glad you got your account back and the Vocal team helped you, Mike.
Thank you , you motivate us all to keep going. I learn so much from reading your stories and poems
Happy to see that your reads have increased!
