A Mikeydred April Fools Dollar Prompt For All Vocal Creators
Share Your Stories And Read Others' Tales And Poetry
Introduction
Every so often I set prompts in the Vocal Social Society and offer a dollar tip to three random creators who take part in it and ask them to share their stories in the comments and on the thread in the group.
This is not official and usually after each one I say that's it, but this is another time where I say, "No, let's have another prompt.
So What's Gonna Happen This Time?
Write me a story or a poem, either true or fictional, about you or someone else that takes in the month of April and some foolishness which may be humourous or dark. It may be historical or contemporary.
There are many scenarios and I am looking forward to see what you come up with.
We know public fools, we have fools in our social circles, and I know I have definitely been a total fool so many times.
I love the idea of the Wise Fools of Gotham:

The music is Patti Smith's "April Fool" from her album "Banga" which I had for sale on Discogs then I played it one more time and the album's brilliance revealed itself to me.
Take a listen, it may give you an idea or two, the album has given me a lot of inspiration, but she is a true poet.
