With love from Bucharest
Home can be a place or a person and for me its both. Home will always be Bucharest and my family and friends living there. Bucharest is the capital of Romania, an eastern european country that is often unknown or forgotten by many people. Fun story for everyone, when i was dated one of my previous partners, i had to open Google Maps and show it to his parents as they never heard of it. But only did they know what a little gem it was hiding.

5 days in the Scottish Highlands. Top Story - January 2021.
"What shall we do? "... come back tomorrow?" "Come back tomorrow, 100%". We laughed as we turned around right at the beginning of the Old Man of Storr walking trail, passing another couple who shared a knowing glance and a chuckle, as the two of us in our shorts, seemingly unprepared for the gailforce winds and rain, made our way back to our rented Land Rover to instead tackle the trail the next day.

France
Ever fly into Paris alone? A little strange you might say? Yes, well, that’s exactly what I did. I flew into Paris on my way back home from a tour of East Europe, on purpose. Paris was not my final destination — it was just a stop along the way. I guess you can say I’m a bit of a rebel. I didn’t go with anyone, and I didn’t expect to meet up with anyone. But, I wanted to cruise around Paris, and see what happens. It was a sort of mission. How dare me, em I right?

Ireland
Have you ever read Gulliver’s Travels? It just so happens that I've been inside St. Patrick's Cathedral, in Dublin; which is home to the late Johnathan Swift, who became ‘Dean Swift,’ and who also happens to be the author of the famous Gulliver’s Travels. I tell you this, because you may view me as a sort of Gulliver, who embarked on a voyage from the Americas and washed up in Ireland one fateful morning (In actuality, I flew into the Dublin airport, several years ago for vacation). The good news is, Ireland is not quite Lilliput; for, I was never anchored down and interrogated by the locals when I arrived (and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, you can buy Gulliver’s travels at any bookstore; and even at the Cathedral in Dublin). The truth is, I had quite a swell time in Dublin and I learned a thing or two during my rather short stay, so read on.

A Cancer Survivor's Epic Cycle Ride Across Europe
In March 2019 I was diagnosed with stage 3 womb cancer. Because it had spread outside the womb to nearby lymph nodes, I needed a radical hysterectomy, sessions of chemotherapy and 27 sessions of radiotherpy (25 external and two internal doses).

Un Voyage Historique Français Sombre et Joyeux
I have long wanted to visit France. I have a great appreciation for French culture, and I've learned a bit of the language. A friend from college got to spend an year in that beautiful country while her husband studied in Nice. How I envied them!
