Travel from sea to shining sea; by car or by plane, there's plenty to see in the good ole US of A.
6 Best Views of San Francisco
San Francisco is known for its iconic views. While many of these beautiful views are world-famous, others are local secrets. The city is 7 by 7 miles, in this compact space, there are numerous views for everyone. Most of the places I mention here are outdoors, anytime you are in San Francisco, it’s best to wear layers. Some neighborhoods are warm, but many are chilly and foggy. Anytime you are near the water especially, bring a coat, it is often very windy. There’s a reason why Fisherman’s Wharf makes a fortune selling hoodies to tourists who only packed shorts and t-shirts!

Will this third instalment be a box office smash like Return of the Jedi or Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, or fail to reach the dizzying heights of its predecessors like The Godfather: Part III? Join us as our land voyage takes us deep into the wilderness and decide for yourself.

Sailing on Beautiful Lakes
An hour north of Anchorage, Alaska you can find the beautiful Lake Eklutna with over fifteen miles of shoreline. This lake is one of the clearest lakes in the US located right next to the Eklutna Glacier. This lake is a great place for salmon and trout fishing. You can enjoy picnicking by the lake and even stay overnight at a campground. If you like you can go boating on the lake and from the boathouse you can rent kayaks. If you like biking there is a trail running parallel to the lake.

Testing Nuclear Trains in Idaho
You’ll never be disappointed if you always choose to go into uncharted territory. We were RV'ing in a convoy with our friends in the US, exploring the country. We called it the ‘Coasts and Canyons Tour’ as we had traveled south along the Pacific coast from Canada.

The Assassin Unaware
by: Dennis R. Humphreys “Is she alright?” Sergeant Turner Myers asked the others surrounding the young woman who had just taken a good fall off the ledge. They were all involved in the war game that was going on with a couple of the platoons from different military sites in the area.

From Floundering to Flourishing
The best word to describe me during childhood was awkward. I was the tallest of everyone in my class until high school, including the boys. I always stood out, yet I was very shy, so I felt both physically and socially inept. I wasn’t a girl boys sought out. I was only in eighth grade when my height peaked at six feet, but I was late to develop. My body held out until my sophomore year. Too much information? Oh, get over it!

Forrest Fenn's Real Treasure
I Am Thankful for Forrest Fenn and His Treasure For the uninitiated, in 2010 Forrest Fenn hid an actual treasure somewhere in the actual Rocky Mountains and left the only clues to its location in an actual poem. It is the modern-day fairy tale we're all looking for, and the man who made it happen is no longer here. The hunt, and the man, came with a certain amount of intrigue. Forrest was an early, vociferous, and widely respected dealer in art and artifacts of the American Southwest. His name has been mentioned and cleared of scandal, but the fact remains he unearthed ancient dwellings on his property. Forrest lived long enough to see his treasure found and was in awe at the sheer spectacle the treasure hunt became. He left us with more than a box of knickknacks. Forrest instilled the notion that treasure truly can be found.

A Big Bad American Road Trip
Like the bullies from high school with big beer bellies who are now married to people who can't stand them, I was worried our trip may have peaked too early. Unlike Dave those kids, the success of the first leg of our trip continued into the second.

Living the adventure
As a kid, the fair was a magical place you got to go to if you were good. If you weren't, you still got to go, but it wasn't any fun. It was a cruel and unusual punishment. You had to stand right by mom and watch as everyone else had the time of their life. That kid standing by mom? He was usually me.
