Parisian Vacation Fails. Top Story - October 2018.
1. Pick one or two things you really want to explore. The only thing my family actually did was visit Versailles because we all love the history of it. However, be prepared for overcrowding and not really getting to see much of what you were hoping for. Most places in Paris are too busy for visitors to actually take time to enjoy what they’re seeing. Have your camera at the ready and snap as you are whisked past. Those blurry pictures are probably the only reminder you’ll have of your time at each location.

Volunteering with Workaway
Workaway changed all the expectations I had for travel. I always assumed it to be a luxury for the wealthy and the free, but that never stopped me from planning, saving, and hoping that I would be able to pull off a big trip after Sixth form. I ended up experiencing the most amazing year of my life at 18, without ever actually having a real job.

Turkey 2018
It all started in the spring. First lads holiday, looking for somewhere cheap and new to visit. After checking on holiday sites such as LastMinute, Teletext, and TUI, we found the perfect priced holiday! OnTheBeach was offering this holiday for a week, all inclusive, for only £275 per person. You couldn't go wrong! So all booked, all seats paid for, and we were off! The 4 hour 30 minute flight seemed to fly past with EasyJet making everything seem smooth and relaxing.

How to Survive Flights
#1 Pack your own food. Packing your own food will save you money because we all know how expensive airport food is. Even if the airline provides you with free food it is most likely not the healthiest or the tastiest. I’m speaking from experience because I got a sandwich wrap and it made me feel a little queasy and it didn’t taste the best. It also had wilted lettuce and some of the veggies looked old. However, not all airline food is terrible because I ordered a cheese and cracker platter and everything was fresh and it was delicious. Remember to pack a healthy meal to keep you energized and feeling good on the plane.

Autumnal Paradise
Autumn is a time to reflect upon the quickly passing year, as the last few months draw in and come to a close, one by one. A time to reflect upon what we have done, what we still wish to do and how we have spent the last year, how we have behaved towards others, how we have spent our money, run our households, performed at our jobs and how we feel about ourselves in general.

The Africa Journal
(Times are in military time.) 6/21/07 1848 - Washington/Dulles airport. First leg of trip done. The flight was good, a little bumpy leaving Denver. I have a 3 hour layover then on to Heathrow. I’m travelling with Mary F. and Lorraine S. Mary is a Nurse Practitioner. Lorraine is an RN. Mary is sweet and has gentle energy. Lorraine is a go-getter. I’m somewhere in between. I think this will be fun. Art had a hard time this morning with me leaving. I’m betting he cried on the way home. Strangely I didn’t feel like crying. I felt like it at first but was ok after a short time.

Gelato
Day two, its been a long day, I’m still getting used to the time change. We had just gotten done with a class at the University of Roma. We got on a bus, what an experience that was. People shoulder to shoulder, finding something to hold on to, eyes on us. People could tell we were new to this, eyes searching for everything we have. Phone, check, wallet, check, passport, check, keys, check. We get off the Termini.
